We enjoyed this hotel last year. Breakfast was great and staff performance brilliant. This year staff were such disappointments. Check-in took a long time, breakfast buffet with plashy fruits; no cake, very bad (watery) coffee and breakfast started at 7.00 a.m.! Avoid any standard rooms facing the street an check the windows are closing. There are a lot of tour groups arriving in the evening and "enjoying" breakfast in the morning. There is a lot of disquiet in this hotel.

Convenient location, twin-tower views, comparable price, avoid rooms facing the street.

Before joining as agoda member , most of my stays for business trips was at cititel express. Anyway many thanks to Agoda for giving this apportunity to give my comments.

It is a very good location for shopping ,convienient to travel around and nearer to every where

Lack of greetings from the staffs, which will pull down the turn around of customers.

The Cititel Express offers clean comfortable accommodation. Although the guest rooms are small they are just fine for a short stay. The staff were friendly and obliging. A very positive impression overall. The main weakness of the Cititel Express is the location. Traffic outside appeared permanently gridlocked. The nearby monorail is really unsuitable if you have luggage to haul around. The monorail was also very crowded. Hailing a taxi from outside the hotel was also difficult.

We have booked a standard room with 1 queen bed. However, they give us a twin room. If we want to change the room, we need to come back to the hotel at noon. It's unreasonable as we have to stay at the hotel and will be unable to travel far away. For budget traveller, we recommend to find a clean guest house for saving.

Close to MRT & bus station.

Staff is not friendly. Poor breakfast. This area is a bit messy. Wireless service costs as much as a 4-star hotel.

The hotel room was fairly modern and very clean and comfy. It provides tourist info and has a large restaurant area. Cititel Express is not centrally located but is close to a monorail station. If you dont mind a short walk it is easily possible to get to some of the main attractions however.

Convenient place to stay Guest Rating: 4.3

First you must get map location of this hotel as most of the taxi drivers confuse this hotel with other - they have almost same name. If you don't have a map just tell them that Cititel Express you want to go it's in the city and don't have a shopping mall. 100 meters from hotel have shop where you can buy some beverages, as hotel provide only 2 bottle of water in your minibar. To go around better use monorail which is 200 meter from the hotel. Taxi some time very difficult to find in this area - I get mine to airport from reception and it cost me 80 ringet.

Location - very close to monorail, so very easy to go around. Very nice and clean rooms, stuff okay.

Breakfast - very Asian style, but still have option to get standard ABF.

This is a good comfortable hotel for people on business visits and for tourists who are looking for something cheaper. The area surrounding the hotel isn't the nicest but there is easy access to the rest of the city through public transport.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Force the taxi drivers to use their meters; don't let them convince you that you should agree a price beforehand. Apparently taxi drivers are legally required to switch on their meter.
