Cititel Mid Valley Hotel Kuala - Cozy Hotel Guest Rating: 4.5

Highly recommended if you intend to shop till you drop at Mid Valley Mall. Makes it convenient to drop your stuff off and proceed off to the next mall for more shopping. Good and comfy hotel with good bfast.

Good location linked by a side door to Mid Valley Mall. Cozy beds. Adjustable aircon temperature. Everything works fine in the room. Bfast was good as well with a good variety. No complaints.

The hotel does not require a guest pass to access the hotel room floors. Which means that any stranger can spare u a surprise along the corridor. I also wanted to visit Bukit Tinggi (French Village), but it seems no one at the hotel reception/conceirge have heard of this place which I am very surprised. I have a couple of Singaporean friends who have been there and yet these hospitality staff have no idea of the attraction in their country. The only advice I got from the Reception was to pay for internet service, print out the address so that they can hail me a cab there.

Hotel is located in a very vantage location for tourists to commute easily. KL Sentral at driving distance (easy baggage check-in in KL Sentral an advantage). Excellent shopping experience, especially for women (you get everthing in the shopping mall). Rooms are neat and clean except for being very compact (may be because of high reality rates). Hotel staff are very friendly and assists you in everything you want to know.Excellent spread in the morning buffet. Overall my wife and I had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights.

Check in was quick and easy. More check-in desks at lobby. Vantage location in driving distance to KL Sentral and KLCC. Above all located along side the midvalley mall making it an excellent stay for shopper. Very helpful hotel staff especially the concierge desk.

Room was very compact making you feel caustrophobic. Hotel needs to upgrade their TV set (small screen and bad picture quality).

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Travelling in KL is very easy and one great experience by differnt trains like Putra LRT, KL Komuter etc. It is cheaper and much faster which beats the traffic build up most of the times.

Very nice hotel, I will surely come back in the future.

The hotel is located in the Mega Mall, so convenient to shop around, also it's next door to the train station and many buses are also available.

Internet connection is a bit expensive, but it seems free of charge in the hotel lobby area, also there are lots of free connections available at the coffee shops in the mall.

we landed around mid night at KL, spend around 70rm to the hotel. rooms are small but clean, seems although it is small, it get every thing you need in the room. breakfast is ok, but a lot of people there. it just sit on the big shopping mall of mid-valley, has big super market down there. it is very convenient for shopping. the shopping-mall has a lot of restaraunt and a cinema, it is easy to spend a day there without going outside. all in all we are satisfied with it.

Wonderful Location Guest Rating: 4.3

The hotel is located only about 30 minutes taxi or train ride from the airport. It is in a mall, so if you forgot something, you can pick it up there. We could see the twin towers from our hotel room. Check in was smooth. They all spoke English. We were able to see everything we came to see in a day and a half due to the location. The rooms were clean and everything was in working order. The breakfast buffet had much to be desired. Many trays were empty and the selection was not as we had expected. I would stay here again on any other trip I make to KL.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can hire a taxi to take you to all the sights. At the airport when you go for a taxi, you purchase the ride at the taxi counter, so there is no haggling with the driver. I found that very pleasant. We then used him to take us around for 4 hours and he was a wealth of knowledge. Then he dropped us at the Chinese market.

event this hotel located far away from airport,but i still choose this hotel due to easy for shopping,i can easily to have dinner in the in other restaurant which is located inside the mall.

A nice budget hotel Guest Rating: 3.7

At first I didn't expect much from the Cititel since it's a budget hotel and we were staying at the superior room, me and my husband with 2 kids. But the stay came out quite lovely mainly because of its really good location and nice staff. I think it is really convenient for people with children because you can just go down to the mall to eat or buy diapers when you need them. You can even go down to have a good shop when the kids are sleeping. I will consider to stay at Cititel again next time when I visit KL.

- Perfect location. Just above Mid Valley shopping mall. Short driving distance to One Utama, Sunway Lagoon and Bukit Bintang cause it's right in the middle. - Clean rooms, friendly staff, and reasonably nice buffet breakfast.

Nothing particular except for the room size. It's a bit too small.

Central Citadel Guest Rating: 3.0

Citadel is an easy option for quick stay in Kuala Lumpur. It's clean, efficient, well-located and the staff are pleasant enough. For shoppers its very convenient as it is attached to the mall,but for those looking for a unique KL experience, this wouldn't be the hotel to choose.

great location with easy access to train (including KL sentral to airport), the midvalley megamall and to Bangsar

breakfast buffet was unimpressive. all the food was cold and tired.

• Nightlife Tip : Head to the suburb of Bangsar for a vibrant taste of KL nightlife. Plenty of restaurants and 24 hour mamaks (coffee shops) to choose from.

Cititel KL Guest Rating: 3.7

Although my stay was only one night I liked the beakfast time ending at 10.30am unlike most hotels ends at 10am. An extra half hour sleep goes a long way and yet have enough time to enjoy the breakfast. I enjoyed the stay because after breakfast we spent about two hours in the shopping mall and got back into the hotel to enjoy the sumptious buffet lunch.

Conveniently positioned in the midst of shopping malls and eateries.

Decorations in the lobby are not up-to-date.

The service is a budget hotel but the location is really acceptable for me. I don't mind to move around by public train therefore it's a good choice so far even though I don't like the service staff as well as the breakfast here.

it is good location as it is a part of Mid Valley Mega Mall where you can shop, eat, hang out wihtout going outside at all. it's next to the KTM station. You can go to KLIA easily by KTM to KL Sentral and use KLIA Expres if you don't have a lot of luggage to carry on. The room is quite compact and nice for business trip so far.

the breafast is the same every day during my 1 week stay. One of the day I found that mashed potato becomes sour. "Chef said nothing", that's the feedback I got from waitress that morning. I found that the house keeping staff had not really good manner when they were checking if the guests were inside the room or not. I was taking shower when I heard someone knocking the door. When I answer, they never said 'sorry', but just walked away immediately.
