Clean, nice decor and convenient. Shower area is quite small. I was satisfied with the staff's flexibility of checking me in smoothly even though I didn't have the printed confirmation with me.
The room was comfortable with modern decor although the shower area feels small. The TV could do an upgrade to better channel receptions and variety and the hotel was in a good location with a megamall right with it so it's convenient to get anything you didn't have.
All in all, if it wasn't for Agoda's good deal, I think this hotel is kinda pricey for a night's stay though.

good service and warm welcome need big and exclusive lobby and lounge with location in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur city, this hotel really have potential to grow up more than what its now. Supporting by big shopping complex,it make the guests very comportable and not worry to go for shopping.the cleanliness of surrounding also one of the factor also. safety wise also make people stay safe.I really felled like stay at my own home during the time stayed at this hotel. nice view of KL also make me really enjoy stayed at this hotel. I gave 5 star class for its.

Asked for a non-smoking floor but was given a smoking floor (9th floor) which the counter staff represented was a non-smoking floor. Only found out from the lift buttons. The next morning, despite the card key being inserted, all the lights could not work. TV is not an LCD but a small crt tv. Room is basic. Hotel is easily assessible through the link next to coffee bean at mid valley mall. Was very irritated with the counter staff who gave me a smoking floor and lied to me it was a non-smoking floor (found out after I checked the elevator buttons). Even more irritated that despite the card key being inserted, all the lights in my room could not work the next day (Rm 915) and as it was 11am and I had only 1 hour to checkout time, I did not bother to call the reception. The room is very very basic. Nothing outstanding and not spacious. 2 beds facing the wall and a small squat crt tv at one end of the room. Will not stay again.

Near to Mid Valley shopping centre. Breakfast is good. However internet charges is quite high. Near to Mid Valley which is convenient for shopping and restaurant. Reception's service is good and fluet in English.

- Carpark that goes right to your hotel level.
- Attached to shopping centre - Water heater not turn on during the day time. I booked two rooms for two nites, it has attached room for my in-law and my family (with my 16 mths old son). Facility is good except for the water heater is not on from about 9am to 7-8pm.My son took a bath and shivered badly during lunch time. Rest of the experience was good. The service counter staff - Evan was very helpful.

Connected to two fantastic shopping malls. Clean and Convenient. No weaknesses as far as I am concerned The hotel is value for money. It is perfect for those looking for some retail therapy but have concerns about safety and traffic. The room is of reasonable size. It is clean and well-equipped with all the basic necessaties. The staff is neither friendly nor unfriendly, just efficient and capable. The restaurant Dragon-i serves great chinese food that is reasonably priced. This is one hotel you love to eat in-house. The hotel is also connected to two fantastic shopping malls - Midvalley Megamall and The Gardens. You can find mid-market and up-market stuff. The range of food available is mind-boggling. If you are looking for a time of pampering yourself with some retail therapy, this is it. Oh, and it is also connected to a komuter station should you need to leave for the central station or airport.
Restaurant Tip : Must try the in-house chinese restaurant, esp the Xiao Long Pau

Good view at rooms at upper floor. Clean and tidy. No small bottled liquid soap for shower is separately provided. Good quality of service. Staff are young, efficient, friendly and helpful. My basic needs of a calm, clean and clean private space for rest after a day of hard walk of travel are met. The room and its decor are well maintained. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who may come to visit KL in future. This is the first time I visited Malaysia and KL. On arrival to this hotel, I feel the modern, friendly atmosphere of this great city Kuala Lumpur and country Malaysia. I am totally satisfied with this short stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Perhaps some sorts of information kiosk may be provided at lobby to help guests get to know how to reach the tourist spots by public transport (trains and buses)

The hotel is right next to mid valley shopping complex which is super convenient. I live in KL for many year but now lives in Singapore. Mid Valley is one of my favorite places. So Cititel would be idea for me to stay when I go back.
At 9am next morning, there was huge noise of banging and vacuum cleaner at full speed. And I found out there was a room cleaning station outside my room. I find that to be a bit annoying.
Upon check-in, the hotel gave me a room, #1625, all the way at the end of that floor. I don't know if it is due to the cheap rate but they have to have given me the worse room possible.

Good location. Shopping malls are just next to the hotel I was just having my quick stay in Cititel Mid Valley and I found it so value for money. The Mid Valley and The Gardens Shopping malls are just next to it and we found it so easy and convenience to shop around.
Paying this money but having a good KL view in the room and clean. Terrific.

rooms no free wifi-- should implement coz this is one of the most regular and needed item for SOHO traveller.
ive always heard my friend to book rooms from agoda.com althought it is not a local company who operate it. so i decide to give it a try to book a room with agoda, its the midvalley cititel hotel, whereby the price of agoda beats other local hotel reservation website. the booking is easy as 1 2 3 and very fast 2morrow i can get the confirmation email from agoda.
The hotel give us a king size bed and non smoking room, which perfectly suites the need for us.

Spacious and Clean beyond expectation. Practically none as stay is short This is the first time I've booked this hotel. Initially I wasn't so sure if I've made the right choice as based on some previous reviews, the hotel rooms are not that spick and span. However as I intended my stay to be short, I proceeded with the booking and I'm certainly glad that I did cos it was one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in Malaysia. It certainly deserves 4 stars or better.

It's a good hotel for the business travelers
Good selections on Breakfast Buffet No free internet provided This was my second time staying with the Cititel due to the convenience locations. Staffs are helpful and friendly and the room was clean. Shower is one of my favourite for the sufficent hot water, i did enjoy it! Definitely will stay with them on my coming trip to KL.
Shopping Tip : A huge mall attached and you can get whatever you need mostly
