The Concorde has always been my hotel of choice in KL. Its great location, great value, superior food services, nice lounge and business services keep me coming back (13 years now)! Access from either taxis or the monorail line (the stop is less than 100 m away) is convenient. The KLCC, other top hotels and nearby local watering holes give you lots of entertainment and shopping choices closeby. And the Hard Rock Cafe is attached to the hotel as well !! This hotel is the best value in KL!

Some rooms are aged like the bathroom(tub, toilet, etc). may need upgrading/replacement in near future.

• Restaurant Tip : There's a good, small German restaurant almost hidden on the ground floor of the building opposite the Concorde (to the left and behind the petrol station). Great beer and German food for expats, business people or anyone looking for something different.

Waking up and in need of a Sim card for my phone, I found that Petronas Tower shopping was a brisk 10 minute walk from the Hotel, allowing me to minimize down time and make the most of my KL experience. The Hotel staff were friendly and polite, giving me the directions on how to get to Petronas Towers and advised me that it was within walking distance, this exceeded my expectations and set the stage for an enjoyable stay. It also allowed me a walk to get to know the local area where I stumbled across the Beach club also within walking distance from the Hotel. The Hotel made arrangements for me to get transport in the morning from the Hotel to KLIA airport so that I could get my flight home. The added bonus is that the car had drinking water available that came in handy for the drive to the airport.

Even though the Hard Rock Cafe was closed it was nice to know that the next time I am in KL and stay at the Concorde I would be close to it. The Hotel is close to the Beach club also and close to the Petronas Towers. Location as they say with the Monorail outside your door step to take you where you want to know. The Hotel can also arrange transport to KLIA airport at a good price and you can travel in comfort.

The carpet is getting a little old and dated in the hallways and rooms in some areas. But it is still clean enough to be comfy.

Staff well informed on KL and gave good recommendations regarding rates to expect from taxi drivers. Umbrellas available for loan- very handy!

• Travel tip : Taking taxis is great but make sure you get them to use the meter, otherwise you are open to being over charged.

Concord is in the golden triangle... but not in the middle! The monorail is nearby.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The TV tower is superb and only a short distance from the hotel!!

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get to know the skytrain (and connecting rail system) as close to everything. Cheap and will avoid the frustration of being overcharge by local taxi drivers.

The best club at the moment is ALOHA. Turn left out of the hotel and left again at the first main road. ALOHA is about half way up the road on the left hand side.

The hotel service made deep impression on my family as staff were very kind and hotel conditions were very satisfying for my family.
