Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur has a good location, it's true very near to the center of city, it has also close to the monorail. The staff there are warm and polite, the good memories for us they have good foods with reasonable price !
At first, I have doubtful to enter the hotel which booked through the AGODA 2 weeks ago before my departure to Kuala Lumpur, therefore I was prepared and print all the proof of booking . In fact, it's not like in my head, all my reservation and payment has been received clearly in Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, so, I had no problem and smoothly check in/out while staying at Concore Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Thanks a lot AGODA !!
Shopping Tip : We were in business trip for World cargo Conferences, we surely have no time to do shopping for some gifts to our kids, at last the concierge was very helpful to tell us where to go and how to do shopping at china-town (of course we love to bargain ) Thank you Concorde !

Location, Facilities and Staff
This was a great choice for our 4 nights in KL - the KL tower was on one side, the Petronas towers were on the other with A monorial, metro and a club/pub/restaurant street all within 2 minutes of the hotel. Despite the choice of restaurants outside we ate in the hotel on 2 nights as the Buffet was really good with a huge choice of good quality, well prepared food (from Maki/susi to flame grilled steaks). We also spent a few nights in the hotel bar as there were 4 house bands and an excellent cocktail menu

Excellent free breakfast. Excellent Coffee shop buffet dinner. Excellent location to night spots. OK value for money.
Incredibly high level of street noise heard in room at night (even on top 19th floor). Unmuffled cars ring throughout the room making sleeping difficult. Lots of late night mororcyle and car noise. Check in very slow. 19th floor very austare...nothing on any of the walls in the hall way or in the room. Shower water mixer poor. Shower goes from to cold to scalding hot with no mixer movement. A/C average.
Check in process very slow with long que of guests checking in. Room walls are bare. Room size (Standard Executive) was good. Very limited drawer space in room. Strongest impression I was left with was that this is the noisest hotel room (caused by street noise I have ever experienced even on the top floor of the hotel. Excellent coffee shop food but in the mornings, restraunt staff seemed overwhelmed with trying to make vacated tables ready for the next guest. No luggage assistance offered upon arrival at hotel from airport. Overall a bit disappointing for an Asia Hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Best location in KL for nightlife only two blocks away.

Rooms are equipped with most necessities.. including ironing board
Toilets without pipe for the toilet bowl, very inconvenient for Muslims. Also one of the room couldn't find the aircon controller or anything to control the system. ended up shivering!!
Good to have a "kiblat" sign but will be better especially for Muslims guests if Concorde hotel install a small pipe for the toilet bowl. As for the aircon in the room, (couldn't find any controller or switch in either 1826/25- the one nearer to the lift.) please at least put a note in the hotel booklet as where we can find the switch... other than that, we're pleased with the Hotel and sure to book the same hotel the next holiday.
Travel tip : It's just beside the Hard Rock Cafe, best for dinner time, Also near to a lot of night life, more "makan Place" and best of all, you can see the Twin Towers from the hotel room. (At least from the room I'm in)

Great location in terms of proximity to major light rail stations / good, well-apportioned rooms / feather pillows and great linens / really nice pools / SUPERB breakfasts buffet / efficient staff
poor TV channel selection / cigarette scorch marks on the room desk in our non-smoking floor / over-sensitive hot&cold water mixer for the shower / the hotel still uses ecologically unfriendly incandescent bulbs / front desk staff could learn to smile a bit more
The hotel really deserves its 4-star rating, it's got everything you would expect of an international hotel. The Melting Pot breakfast buffet selection is extensive and excellent. Rooms are good-sized, if a bit plain but that's okay. The large Hotel pool is overlooked by both the Petronas Towers and the Menara KL. There's a kiddie pool too. The location is a BIG plus; almost right in front of Bukit Nanas monorail station that takes you to the shopping district, and a 10-minute walk from Dang Wangi station that will take you downtown. Hotel staff are polite and efficient.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't ask the front desk to arrange an airport taxi for you, they may give an inflated rate to encourage you to take the hotel limousine instead. The bell service staff by the front entrance DID have the correct information and got us a reasonably priced taxi (RM120)at 3am.

The house band(s) are fun, but very loud, tacky and over-the-top. That appeals to me, but maybe not everyone! Very strong cocktails too!
Currently under renovation. No bar or daytime restaurant in the swimming pool.
We had stayed at the Conchorde several years ago as some luxury at the end of an overland backpacking trip. We loved it then, but its beauty has faded a little. Still, the staff are helpful, the location is good, the beds are superb, I would recommend it again as a good budget / mid-range choice.
Hotel Feature Tip : The cocktails in the hotel are better and stronger than any others we tried in KL!

Location and "good for business" hotel.
Heavy traffic in the area - especially in rush hour.
For a moderate priced business hotel it is hard to go past The Concorde. Location is excellent for business and pleasure. The rooms are more than adequate - especially the "Premier" rooms where the exclusive check in location and complementary wifi in the rooms are great features. Breakfast which is included is good, fast and efficient.

Clean, sufficient facilities
the weired door in my room
The location of the hotel is not bad, one of the most popular railway just right out of the hotel. However, it's not quite easy to catch a taxi nearby.
About the facilities, I would say it's sufficient, cafe, gym room, lounge, swimming pool...surely, as I said sufficient, you should not expect there's much surprise
The breakfast buffet is good, good variety of cuisine was provided.
The room is clean, and once again, it's everthing sufficient. However, there is a strange white wood door in the room, which I open and found another door connected to next room. That means if both the people in the rooms open the door, the two rooms are open to each other. What's that for?
The weired door is made of thin wood, which is not a good insulator for noise, so the loud TV noise in next room could probably affect your sleep.
Overall, the hotel is fairly good, but for the given price, I believe there is better choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the hotel is just 10 minutes walk to Twins Tower, save your taxi expense comfortbly

The service was brilliant at the hotel, the buffet breakfast was devine. The atmosphere was amazing
The superior room we stayed in was very run down. When i looked the hotels website i expected the room that was viewed...Sorry but nothing like it.. If i didn't shop all day i would have moved to another hotel
If you are going to Malaysia to shop, which is brilliant by the way. Then the concorde is good.If you are going for a relaxing holiday and want to spend more time in the room, then the concorde superior room is not for you as it does not have basic needs. Like DVD, alarm or radio, it just has a small TV.
Travel tip : Monorail, which gets you to most shopping areas and links up to KL central station. But is away from the hussle and bussle of KL

Location, room size and value for money.
Note that renovations are going on late 09 and rooms can be noisy during the day.
This property represents very good value for money in KL whilst being right in the centre of the tourist and business precincts. If possible pay the slight premium for a "Premier" room - the extra space, complimentary wifi and enhanced room standard are worth it. The business centre is efficient and comprehensive and the lobby level bar/lounge presents some of the best Philippine musicians in town.
Hotel Feature Tip : Try the immediately adjacent Hard Rock bar and restaurant - good value and lively.

Central location, breakfast included, nice swimming pool, next to Hard Rock Cafe.
Listed as a four star hotel but more like three star. Rooms in need of refurbishment.
The Concord is in a good central location and is easy to find; close to the Petronas Towers and the KL Tower. The lobby area is spacious and has a comfortable, nicely laid out bar next to it. There is live music each night and some of the bands are very good. The drinks are reasonably priced. There is a good sized swimming pool. Towels and lockers are provided free of charge when using the pool.
However the rooms are not very impressive. Although the Concord is listed as a four star hotel I would rate it three stars. My shower was broken and the water pressure was poor. Sometimes the water was not hot. Overall the bathroom was in a poor state; the bath was chipped and the room needed re-tiling. The bedroom was clean and comfortable but was also in need of redecoration.
Shopping Tip : Good shopping centre next to the Petronas Towers; five minute walk from the Concord hotel.

This hotel is located in a perfect location. The Petronas Twin Tower is just behind it and the KL tower is right in front of the lobby. Both buidings are within walking distance.
The lifts are crap, some room cards don't work in the lift and you need to keep trying. Also the room doesn't exactly look as it is in the brochure.
For people who are more concerned about the location, you don't have to worry about getting to the centre of the city, because the hotel is in the centre of the city and both the KL tower and the Petronas Twin Tower are just within walking distance.
For people who want quality room and cleanliness, I'd suggest you stay somewhere with an international brand like Crown Plaza. The brochure of the hotel looks very attractive and the price is good for its location, however, when I got my key and opened the door, I was rather disappointed because the bathroom didn't look clean and the toilet didn't flush well.
They do have very friendly receptionists though. Breakfast is rather good too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : KL tower and the Petronas Twin Tower are must-see buildings.
If you look for a good bar, go to the Pacific Regency, they have a lovely bar. Sometimes it gets quiet though.

Location, staff, view from room, pool, food
Wokmen doing refurb. noisy
I booked through Agoda and got a very good price for a five night stay. Staff were extremely pleasant throughout. Breakfast was amazing with all kinds of taste catered for. The pool was great to lounge around before heading off into the city. Great view of the Petronas towers from our room on the 12th floor. The only negative thing was that higher floors were being refurbished during our stay so there was a lot of noise but luckily we were out for most of it. I will stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Really good location for the Petronas towers and KLCC>
