Good location, value for money

Room and decor is old and needs upgrading

The hotel is very centrally located particularly if you wish to go to KLCC. It is about a 200m walk to K-Avenue mall (which is on the same side of the road as the hotel), and from K-Avenue, there is an underground link that takes you directly to KLCC. The underground link is also the entrance to the MRT station. This link is well-lit, very crowded during peak periods and appears safe. Although the roads in front of the hotel can be busy during peak periods, because of its central location, the major roads in the city where most of the business district is located is within easy reach by car/taxi – Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Ampang. Compared to similar hotels in the area with close or direct connection to KLCC, this hotel represents value for money, especially if you are looking for somewhere basic to stay without the frills. The room décor is somewhat old, but is functional. It is relatively clean though in the room I was in, it smelt a bit damp. And while the room faced on to the main street below, it was surprisingly not very noisy.

Close to many attractions, easy to go by taxi to other areas. Clean rooms with all you need, friendly and helpful staff at reception, best doorman in town as well.

None

Corus is the best place to stay if you want to visit the Petronas Towers. You can get a good night's sleep in a lovely room, then get up early and have breakfast at 6h30, and walk down the street to stand in line for an hour, so that you can get your free tickets to go up in the towers. The staff at reception is most helpful, and there is also a shuttle available to China Town.

Restaurant Tip : Across the street from the hotel is an excellent food court, open until late at night and it is safe to walk the streets.

very close to all tourrist attractions, easy to get there and very convenience.

unecceptable smell in the lobby. The room next to the swimming pool is very noisy when it's raining. The sound of dropping rain on the roof of the balcony can wake you up all night.

The location of the hotel is very good and very easy to reach the trains just a few minutes walk from the hotel.the hotel rates are seasonable enough for all guests. Services are fine, the door man are very helpful and nice.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : KL tower and twin tower are a must go for sightseeing.

Very good ambience and courteous staff. Excellent buffet spread. Well maintained premises and the locality is very good, with proximity to main business centre.

Not many channels in the television.

The stay over corus was excellent. The entire process of booking it online (of course, with good deals) through check-in and check-out was a smooth affair. The staff were very much courteous and helpful which provide a positive vibrance to the ambience. It had all the basic ameneties though not luxury enough. But, i would say it is value for money and enjoyed the stay. The best thing is its location in KL.

Really freindly and obliging staff. Although they amble a bit they were freindly.

Failed my Nasi Lemak test. I have it at every hotel I stay at in Malaysia. At best the Nasi Lemak was below average.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the condition of the beds are deplorable . From unclean toilets, scuffed and damaged toilet seats , Beds that have seen better days. Don';t ever use the business centre. It costs RM 1 per minute to surf the web.

Convenient location - stone's throw away from KLCC it's also right across the street from Nasi Kandar Pelita, an excellent Indian restaurant for casual dining. The room was also clean and well appointed.

The bathroom looks like it could use a refresh. There were cracks in the grout and the tub/shower was dated.

Overall, the Paradise Cabana room was a great deal for the price I paid. The reception was kind and friendly, although I had to wait for an hour for my room to be cleaned upon checkin. They generously offered me 2 coupons for the Corus Delight(virgin cocktail) while I waited. All the Cabana rooms are situated on the 2nd floor and each have a patio with direct access to the pool area. Unfortunately, one cannot lock the patio door from the outside which is an incovenience. They should replace the existing lock with a key card scanner.

Convenient to city centre, clean room friendly staff

reduce the smoking areas

My stay at the Corus Hotel in KL was made all the more pleasanter by the friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in a good location and KLCC was in easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet had a good mix to match the tastes of both Westerners and Asian guests.

Efficient service.

Small swimming pool. Air con temperature couldnt seemed to be increased. Cheecky staff.

The room was comfortable and clean. We checked in at about 3pm and were shown to the room immediately. Not much wait at Reception. There's no lift to the car park though. And it's abit of a hassel to have to keep on validating your carpark receipt at the reception. But then again, there seems to be renovation going on so they might be building a lift. No complaints with the Front desk staff, they were nice and helpful - it's the young boys at the concierge / taxi desk that are cheeky. Whistling and all that. Just ignored them and they got the message after 3rd day or so. Bell service is ok. There’s internet access but you have to plug in your laptop. No WiFi so iPhone users can’t have internet access. The business centre charges RM1 per minute! The hotel's restaurants are not much to look forward to, just a Chinese restaurant and a Jap restaurant both which my partner does not really enjoy so had to eat out all the time. The room service food is horribly overpriced and not worth it at all. RM30 for a plate of fried rice. The room’s safe was useful. Some of the lights in the room were fused and not repaired. None of the lights in my balcony worked. The air con is terribly cold and the temperature cannot seem to be increased. The swimming pool, although nice for a relaxing swim is not big enough to get a proper workout in. The lil’ love seats at the side are a plus point though. Pretty spots for photo taking. The room access card was not validated when I extended my stay for 1 extra night. So I got locked out of my room and had to run back down to the front desk again. They allowed for check out being an hour later. But then again it depends who answers your call. The 1st time I called they said it’s not possible due to new guests checking in and a shortage of rooms. (I find it hard to believe that on a Tuesday they’re booked full?) As I really couldn’t get packed in time, I called again to offer to pay for the late checkout but before I could explain further and the

Shopping Tip : For the ladies who like to buy clothes and accessories go to BB plaza! It's like 10 minutes away by taxi and there are so many things to buy. A simple dress would probably cost you RM30 or less and a top RM20 or less..

It is very convenient located. The Aeroline that goes to Singapore daily starts at this hotel. As well, if there are 2 of you, paying $15 Ringit each will get you from the airport directly to the hotel. Otherwise, the same bus will drop you off at the stop nearest to the hotel at the city centre and you can take a taxi there. The reception staff is very friendly.

part of the hotel is relatively older. The hotel room that I stayed in for the second time was not as good as the one for the my first stay. I was told that room service is not available when I called for that at around 1 am .

Generally the hotel is good. If you want to travel to Singapore by bus, it is very convenient. The direct bus line, Aeropline bus, starts from this hotel. It takes 5 hours and the bus is Very comfortable seating with meals provided. Breakfast is OK. The twin tower is nearby within walking distance, so is the Indian town and China town. Very colourful.

Restaurant Tip : There is a 24 hour restaurant across the street from the hotel.

Location, transportation options, everything near

Room service performance

Stayed in this hotel several times and every time was greatly satisfied with our stay. Location of the hotel is truly superb , it will takes you only 5 minutes walk to Kuala Lumpur main attraction - Petronas Twin Towers and also Aquaria, great "Suria" shopping center with restaurants and food court, central public park, etc. KLCC metro station is 2-3 minutes away from the hotel and also you can use major bus hub near Petronas Towers, which means you get anywhere in the city by cheap, but efficient, public transport. Rooms are spacious and well kept, and if you ask for the room overlooking the Ampang avenue, you can get partial Petronas Towers view right from your room. Performance of the room service is not good, everything takes a lot of time, so take my advice and don’t really rely on them or train your patience. I will surely recommend this hotel for my friends, it’s good location to stay in KL for two or three nights to explore the city.

Restaurant Tip : Check Suria's foodcourt and restaurants in Petronas Towers, there are a lot of options to eat for everyone.

Hotel just opposite KLCC (underpass via Avenue K).

Hotel is somewhat dated but rooms are clean. Staff is helpful too.

Generally the hotel is good for both business and leisure travellers. With the metro within less than 5 minutes walk, and KLCC just across, it is good location. For ambience of the hotel, it is okay (just a bit dated), with Jap restaurant and a cafe too. The lift lobbies and rooms are well maintained and clean.

Nightlife Tip : There seems to be a popular pub somewhere nearby cos I can hear faint sounds of music..
