- good location
- value for money
- clean
- efficient
- some rooms are noisy
- breakfast very average
The Corus Hotel has an excellent location just across from KLCC and my office. I just cross the street and I am at work. The breakfast is nothing to write home about so I just have my roti canai around the corner for RM 2. The hotel is efficient, staff are efficient, rooms are clean.

conveniently located to KLCC, nice 4 star class hotel
just a few years past being contemporary and could do with a face lift soon
the corus is perfectly nice with a grand lobby (in size) and the superior room i stayed in was very nice with all necessary comforts. i didnt try the pool but i had a nice view overlooking it and it looked pleasant too. i would stay here again as its well priced and has all that one needs. it is a few years past its prime and certain parts look a little '10 years old' so i would say that a cosmetic face lift is in order to elevate its standard. but then it would cost more i'm sure.
Shopping Tip : just walk to KLCC from here. its very close. the cab drivers in KL are scandalous and most will rip you off at the drop of a hat. dont accept non-metered rides. even if the hotel porter tells you its ok. he's probably in on the scams.

-A street away from KLCC
-Cosy and nestled in midst of bustling city.
-Best services starting from front desk
-shuttle services to attractions provided
-pool is fantastic and sun direction is just nice for tanning
Carpark does not have lifts.
We drove up to Corus and it was easy on the map. We were amazed by the surrounding amenities though the hotel look old but the lobby change it all. It was majestic and the rooms were fantastic. They fitted an LCD screen tv. The executive refreshment was what me and wife looks forward as they have varities. I appreciate the Business Centre as helps me do last minute bookings for m family. We found the breakfast menu was fantastic. Corus is flexible when we wanted to take our breakfast on the ground floor i/o the exec club. We are truly happy and would not hesitate tostay in again.

Proximity to KLCC shopping centre (plus train). Nasi Kandar restaurant across the road.
Cut down on the quality of rooms and cleaning standard
This was my fourth stay at the Corus over the last few years. Compared to previous stays the value of a great room and location is now lost due to their reduced standards in bedding, pillows, lazy cleaning and poor maintenance of the rooms. On this stay they no longer give you sheets (just the quilt), they don't hoover and overall the standard of the room has dropped dramatically. I used to stay here for the value of a decent bed and pillows but find the rooms are just not maintained anymore to make my stay refreshing. I've stayed at youth hostels with much better standards for a basic room. I am going to try the Traders Hotel next trip.
Restaurant Tip : Go across the road bridge and eat at the Nasi Kandar restaurant. Foods is good value and open all day and night. I recommend the Tandoor and the Masala Thosai. (the waiters will come to your table and you order from them).

good clean rooms at very reasonable prices, excellent service, excellent location with a pelita's and seven eleven across the street, which are open almost all hours, a Mcdonalds within walking distance and a shopping centre with all the local flavors.....
a little musty smell, when you arrive, but dissipates soon.....
had a great stay here, was close to the petronas towers area, not too far from sentral, good food, great location- with the pelita's across the street-which was open until at least 4 am, a 7-11 convenience store also near, a shopping centre with macs within walking distance, also very reasonably priced for the bargain hunter like me.
Restaurant Tip : check out pelitas for the great ambience, local kids hangin out with all their beefed up cars!! especially after 1 am.......

location is near to malls, attraction and famous buidings (i.e. Petronas tower).
the hotel reception should be more accomodating to incoming and leaving guest.
The hotel is great. The room is very cozy and relaxing. There's a coffee set in the room that's another plus factor. The double curtain is kind a unique features in the room, wherein you can set to a very dim light. To wrap it up, the hotel performance is excellent.

They have an excellent location just a few minutes walk to the petronas towers and the train station. We had a room at the 6th floor facing the towers and a view of the pool.
The toilet sink faucet really makes a loud noise when opened
We were amazed how close it was from the Petronas Towers it took us only a few minutes to get there especially when we have to go there early morning for the skybridge visit. We were given a 6th floor room facing the towers with a view of the pool plus free internet which really made a big difference. The room was big enough for my two kids to run around without stepping on my wife's shopping bags. Location is excellent for it is accessible to buses, taxis and a nearby train station. Housekeeping is also amazing when we left the room at 5pm for an hour swim at the pool just by hanging the notice on the door knob and the room was cleaned when we came back at 6pm, great job guys, and the kids had a 2nd swim at the bathtub. The reception staff was also very helpful they provided us complimentary welcome drinks while waiting for our room to be cleaned at check-in (it was the only room facing the towers available at that time), check-out was quick and they even helped me explaining my schedules to our taxi driver. I would really recommend this hotel especially to families with small kids.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The location is accessible to everything from trains, buses to taxis. I recommend a longer stay at this hotel for a better vacation experience in Kuala Lumpur its in the center of everything.

Being able to see Petronas Towers from the room balcony was nice for the NYE fireworks, but a certain bank building was right in front of where the fireworks went off...
The rooms were also quite spacious and almost all seemed to have balconies.
The interior carpeting is getting a bit shabby and the constant entertainment in the main lobby was a little annoying.
I would recommend this hotel just a block away from Suria and Petronas Towers. KLCC station is also just a block away for convenience. However, some of the more popular nightspots in Golden Triangle take a bit of walking to the red monorail line. In case you were wondering, there was free wifi you signed up for each day online.
Hotel Feature Tip : The breakfast buffet is a great spread to kickstart your morning for only ~$7 USD

Location is remarkable asset of this hotel. Just some 3 minutes walk away from P Towers and Suria KLCC shopping center. As well as all the night clubs are just a walk distance away from it. Pool is ok. Staff is nice and helpfull. It truly was worth the LOW SEASON p. Peak season price I would not pay for it.
Rooms were "a bit" worn off already. We had no breakfast, however it was not a big deal as sufficient amounts of local food was offered at the Food Court of Suria Shopping Mall 4th floor for less than one euro.
Value for money, while Low Season prices are on.
Shopping Tip : Awoid Suria for shopping. 1st see the locals shopping center Ampang Point and less expensive Pavillion.

Corus hotel has good location and restaurants. I am impressed with its architect. Shuttle service was very convenient to go out. Receptions and all staff are very friendly and helpful. We are happy to stay in Corus Hotel. I will recommend to my children and friends. Next time, when going to Malaysia, we will come back Corus Hotel.

I did not find any features
There is no flat tv; many entertainment channels are not avaialble; Passage carpet looks old and it gives a bad impression as we entered
This is located at the prime location and we can access anywere and the food is very excellant. As far as reception area, it has required a lot of attention and they are very poor in service and poor in reciprocate.

located at KLCC (Petronas and Suria), just 5 minutes walk away
Good facilities and lobby lounge
Corus is an old hotel but located at the center of KL city, just 5 minutes walk away to KLCC suria and Petronas. Also 4 stops by monorail if you want to go shopping at pasar seni (central market).
Corus has good facilities, you can also find a tour guide counter in front of the hotel, book a taxi to the airport and nice lounge inside
Recommended for those who want to stay at the center of KL city
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you can see the petronas twin tower from swimming pool area

Very friendly staff. Just walk able to all major shopping mall and to Suria PETRONAS tower. One can get very good view of PETRONAS tower from the room. Staff and room service are very accommodative.
Some corner near lift lobby, and in the walk ways should repainted and some of water seapage marks on the wall while walking gives feeling of why these guys have not noticed this? they should give detail attention to these things.
Though I was first time visitor to KL, and to this hotel, once I am in, I never felt any trouble /worrisome. The staffs were very friendly. My check in was in the afternoon and I had requested for top floor facing PETRONAS so that I can get good view of the building. Since the room was not yet ready when i reached the hotel the receptionist requested me to wait at least 30 mins and offered me free drinks and some snacks till room gets ready! This was some thing I did not expect. Good gesture by them. Then they give me travel tip and suggestions to make best in KL of short stay of 3 days in KL. It helped me a lot. And their restaurant has good variety and wide spread menu/buffet. And the day when I was leaving, 12noon was check out but I could extent till 2pm they obliged my request. Over all my stay at Corus was really good and they are very friendly.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you are planning to take a bus to Singapore the Aeroline bus boarding point is from this hotel and it is very usefull.

Great location, reasonably priced, huge and comfortable lobby, good staff services, facing KL landmark, great shopping at KLCC across the street, nice and reasonable priced restos and bars nearby....
smoking allowed in the lobby, food ( especially room-service ) overpriced, one side of building facing construction site and soon windows of the completed building.
This is a reasonably priced, comfortable and well serviced locale. Facing the landmark KL towers and the KLCC shopping complex, this is ideal for those who spend limited touring time and shopping time. Jalan-Bintang, shopping and night-life haven is nearby ( walking 35 min. or mono-rail 5 min. ) but far enough not to be bothered by the hustle and bustle of the area. Many nice and reasonably priced restos and bar in the neighbourhood also...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : - Facing the landmark Petronas Towers
- KLCC great shopping complex
- Nearby bar/disco - with knockout live-band
- Monorail is only 5-10 min. away...
- catch Taxi on the road not from the hotel driveway and demand pay by the meter
