My stay at the D'Oriental hotel was good. The staff could not be anymore helpful. You are also in the right area for shopping in China Town. First time trip to KL I would recommend this hotel.

The only good things were the breakfast and access to train station (Pasar Seni), 2 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel is located in Chinatown, making it difficult to locate.
The behaviour of the staff was really rude and unfriendly. We had booked the hotel with our specific request for late check in and check out, but the staff was un cooperative and asked us to check out or pay extra.
Also, we saw couple of bugs on our mattress, wonder how many went unnoticed.
The room was just enough to keep our luggage, with not much space left to freely walk. The chaos on the street subsides after 10 pm.
