quite nice location. very close to major shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur. the food street is also not very far which is jalan alor.
I would love the hotel to be renovated and I am sure I will come back again if they do so. cheers for Malaysia

good price, good staf, clean rooms, walking distance to Petronas Towers problems with aircon- too cold good hotel, with good and friendly staff. good location- walking distance to big shoping malls, to train station, to Petronas towers. we was stay with friends for two nights. staff was very helpfull with information about city. room was clean and nice. hotel ir high about a 24 floor building with nice view to Petronas twin toxwers.

The room was nice, spaciuos and really comforted me and family The car park was really small space, really have difficulty to drive in specially when you driving a big car this is my first time i checkin to Dorsett, me and expectation are high about this hotel especially when read through about it in the internet. I have checkin together with my wife and two kids, the room are really spacious that can fit all us comfortably, nicely arranged of course with plasma TV in the room and the toilet also was clean and big. Overall our stay even though only for one night was good. The hotel near to shopping mall and KLCC. But only the car park gave us some problem because i really have difficulty to drive my big car into the parking lot and i almost hit the corner wall.

close to major shopping complexes bad service from at the hotel restaurant Overall it is a comfortable hotel, nice klcc view from the room. Only the waiter and waitress service at the restaurant are bad. We sat there for quite a while but they never bother to ask us for any drinks or not.

Excellent rooms, great location, nice pool, great staff, air con works great, breakfast great, bathroom very nice, Windows Lounge nice touch. I liked everything about this hotel - lobby humble but nice, staff excellent, rooms spacious and well decorated, bathroom very beautiful with marble floors and walls. The bed was very comfortable with down feather pillows and blanket, plasma TV nice touch, and greatest view one can ask (Twin Towers, from 27th floor). If you want the 27th floor its a non-smoking floor, and usually rooms available. The restaurants are nice, lunch buffet little pricey, but free breakfast buffet is excellent. Very nice pool, I found it very quiet most times, with a nice view again of the Twin Towers. Actually everything was very positive, and locations very good as well, close to everything including the Pavilion Mall. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Shopping Tip : In the center of best Malls.

Clean, Central location, Safe When I entered the room it smelled like I'm in a hospital, which I think is because they used an anti-septic similarly used on most hospitals, They should at least change that! the smell is not fit for a hotel. Breakfast has little choices, but not that bad. The hotel could be 3.5 stars. Got to check in around 11pm, My request for a top floor open view was met. Staff are friendly but won't go an extra mile for you needs. One thing I really didn't like is the smell of the room from the anti-septic probably dettol used. I felt like im in a hospital room. They should definitely change that. The breakfast is always the same, so if your probably staying there for a day or two .. it won't matter.
Restaurant Tip : Very close to Pavilion where you have a lot of choices for dining and shopping. Close to the Petronas tower and KLCC convention center and bukit bintang.

Attentive staffs, good service, good location Old room, re-furbish needed The first impression for Dorsette Regency is the very friendly and attentive staffs, they are very helpful and polite. The hotel location is very good, 5 minutes walking to shopping area, Bukit Bintang. However the room looks so old comparing to the picture. The lobby is very small. If you check in at night time, you have to talk very loud as the lobby lounge nearby where you have to shout against the voice of the singers.

The Hotel is located in a strategic area (Gloden Triangle) in Jalan Imbi across to Ritz Carlton Hotel. Shopping Malls (Pavilion) and Restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. Bintang Walk, KLCC and Night life area are like 10 minutes walking. The hotel is a bit old but convenient, i would recommend anyone to stay in a deluxe premier as it's much better and bigger. whether you are on business trip or vacation, Dorsett would fit your needs. i would stay there again when visitng KL.

Good Location and also spacious rooms. No sofa or sitting place for guests at lobby. Dorsett Regency Hotel are located near KL Bukit Bintang Area which has good food and shopping Centres. The rooms are spacious and it is a good choice for families on holidays in KL. We stayed at the 24th floor and it has wonderful views of KL especially the famous Petronas Twin Towers. It is a good choice for families who do have their own transport as all major shopping centres such as Pavillion, Lot 10, Sungai Wang Plaza and Bukit Bintang are within walking distances. I will surely choose to stay at Dorsett Regency Hotel KL on my next trip to KL.

Lifts were a bit slow,no free internet and hotel lobby abit small we booked for three nigths deluxe in club floor 23 floor really it was a nice place.
the breakfast is so nice i like it
dorsset is close to many shopping (lot 10 - Pavillion shopping ceneter)and resturents.
it is in Bukit Bintang area
Internet will cost you about 30 Ringitt per day if you want to use it in your room ( no free)

Superior big room and well maintained. Good house keeping. Good location, walking distance to shopping Centres like Emporium, Starhill,Lot 10,Sungei Wang, BB Plaza etc
Parking- very tight spots at ramps. Big cars (Camry or MPV size) may have difficulty driving inside. Breakfast Area is not quite big enough, long queue forms at peak time.
Its a nice hotel with a rather understated reception. The big room size, good house keeping and friendly courteous staff made up for the lack of grandeur of it frontage. Its location is pretty good. Its just walking distance away from the main shopping belt of Jalan Bukit Bintang and not far from the nightlife area of Jalan P Ramlee. Breakfast spread is pretty good with local and continental dishes offered. Only setback is that you have to go early or you may have to queue during peaktime as the Breakfast area is small. Overall standard of service at the hotel is good. Parking is a problem for big cars as the driveways are really cramped.
Travel tip : No tooth brushes and toothpaste provided. So BYO.

Location was hard to beat, Beautiful big sparkling pool, great breakfasts, superb open room with all facilities and walking distance to shopping centres and restaurants For the rates they charge The dorset Regency is a bargain. It should be 5 stars and we would recommend this to anyone. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, everyone spoke good English while the food. particularly the breakfasts, locality of the hotel in central KLCC was quiet and near major shopping centres and restaurants. We would return there on future trips to KL, a city which we thoroughly enjoyed
