Great hospitality by the staff and near to Pavillion Shopping centre
A bit too far off from the main bustling stret of Bukit Bintang area. Quite secluded if you walk at the back alley
For family great place to hang out as not as busy in the Bukit Bintang area. Great food, accomodations and facilities to enjoy with the family. Great Sales hapenning 50-70% off at Pavillion Shopping centre. Value for money included breakfast!
Shopping Tip : 50-70% off sales price at Pavillion Shopping Centre esp on the Christmas season!

- Within the KL Golden Triangle District
- Walking distance (5 yo 10 mins) to Bar Street, Large Shopping Malls and Monorail station
- Check out time can be postponed to 2pm
- Staff are polite and helpful
- Walls are too thin among rooms. We could hear clearly the speaking in next room at night.
I stayed at there 2 night and shared the room with my friend. Room is small, we needed to tidy up our luggage one by one since no space to open 2 suitcases at same time. In addition, the bath room facilities are quite old. In general, if you need not to stay in the room all day long and to take spa in room, I recommend this hotel to you as good location, good service and resonable price.

- close to bukit bintang walk
- clean and tidy
- close to main attractions
- abit old and tired inside
- needs up grade to linen
Not a bad hotel if your just after something that isnt too flashy for what you pay. It has all the features like plasma TV (good size) and many channels. Internet will cost you about 30 Ringitt per day if you want to use it in your room.
Its close enough to everything, food , shopping and twin towers. Just be warned of the taxi's they will tend to overcharge you if your westerner. So use mono rail whenever you can, quicker and cheaper.
Shopping Tip : Lot 10 , and big electronic store near. Also food street alhor jalan is close too.

1. Location is right in the middle of the city.
2. Friendly staff.
3. Housekeeping is excellent.
1. We had to bring our luggage to our room ourselves as it took them too long to bring it up.
2. The bed is hard.
The hotel is easy to find and popular among the locals. The facade and lobby are welcoming but in the waiting area, guests can smoke so it's not good for asthma sufferers like myself. Housekeeping is immaculate. Complimentary bottled water is a bonus but no ice in the mini fridge. Only one hotel card was issued to us while our hotel in Penang gave us two, so we were able to keep our electricity on and the fridge working.

Location is very good. Close to Jalan Bukit Bintang. Staff is very nice. Receptionist can speak Madarine and Cantonese. Room is very clean and comfortable.
Mattress was too soft, not supportive. Concierge was not helpful. When he knew that our destination was too close, he did not help to ask for taxi, even though we had many luggages.
Location is very good. It takes only 5 mins to Pavilion shopping mall. Staff is very nice. Receptionist can speak Madarine as well. Room is very clean and comfortable, which is very important. When we said we were on honeymoon, the hotel upgrads our room automatically and sent us a celebration cake, which leaves us a very good impression. We live in room 2014 and can see Petronas Twin Towers. If we go back to Kualar Lumpur, we will choose this hotel again.

Location central, clean rooms, helpful staff though not always successfully
Bit of a walk up to shopping plaza;
Not able to get correct information from concierge staff; charge for internet
Our stay at the Dorset was fine with clean room, no breakfast. Location was good though didn;t like the walk uphill to the plaza mall. Other direction was good for local food with streets ofhawker food courts and restaurants. The other sights, like the Central Market, were taxi rides away in the traffic. Re Cons: concierge staff gave us answers they must have thought we wanted to hear, rather than the truth re taxis, buses etc. A room-service meal was fine.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hop on hop off bus finishes 7.30pm so you can't hop off it for dinner and take it back. You have to get a taxi back after dinner. So 24 hour use is not actually true as bus stops running for 12 of them.

The position was fantastic. We had a view of the twin towers, that was exciting. We were on the top floor, I felt giddy but the view was great. The room was gorgeous. We went to the restaurant and picked food from the menu but there was a banquet for $20Aus. We realised that we should have taken the banquet even though we werent too hungry but had already ordered. The food we got was awesome, but the waiter bought us a small plate of fresh seafood from the buffet for no extra. He was so nice, I hope the write up I gave him did him well. I would like to spend more time there again, longer than 1 night I hope next time.
The room was a little small but we only stayed 1 nights, so if it was longer I would hope for a larger room.
Well although our stay was only short, our 1st impression was it looked very smart and the service was very professional. The room was neat, clean and smart looking. Our view was great of the twin towers. We were on level 26 and that was high, I think the last floor of rooms. We were very tired upon our arrival and at the end of a big holiday in Malaysia and Thailand. It was nice to stay in such a comfortable swish hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Make sure you try the Banquet dinner, it looked superb.

Convenient location, clean, room is quite big
carpet old, and non-smoking room smells like smoking room
It is a very handy hotel with reasonable price, it is easy to get to Time squre and only 2mins away from Pavillion - one of the best shopping mall in KL, you can find just about everything you need there. only a short stroke to lot 10, sungaiwan, KLCC,etc. Hotel has really friendly staff that willing to help in many ways... Room is good sized and clean, just the carpet is a little bit old... and when you just getinto the hotel, there is a weird smell.

Price, breakfast, nice breaky room, generous rooms. Rooms in very good condition.
Deluxe premier room view was of walls of other buildings nearby so one could feel boxed in.Staff okay, not great. concierge trying to get us to take tours that were 20% more than the ones advertised at 2 other hotels in KL.
We booked a deluxe premier room, well laid out, in good condition and quite spacious. Had a bath which wife loves. Only drawback was we looked out the window to be faced with the walls of other buildings and this gaves us a feeling of being boxed in.
We were offered an upgrade for 300 ringit for 3 days to a suite which was more spacious and had a great view. Problems with the suite were the kettle had to be plugged in at the floor. CRAZY ! and the TV was not in line with the end of the bed but to the right so only one person could view it properly. The staff explained that the fancy piece of furniture under the TV was too large to be in a prime viewing position. What a waste of a great TV.
Otherwise the suite was very nice. 300 ringit for 3 nights was a bit steep to pay for an upgrade there as we paid the same at the flash Parkroyal and had a very modern suite type room, free internet, access to club lounge and breaky, food, drinks all day.
We had to pay extra for Dorsett breaky but it was very nice and comfotable, modern seating.
Pretty good position. Nearby at Bukit Bintang st. is the Pavillion shopping centre with a fab, fancy but cheap food hall. about 2 to 3 Aussie $ a meal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go up the road to the Parkroyal hotel for their tour brochure ( 10 min walk up jalan Imbi ). Tour people should arrange something for you re pickup.

Huge king size bed, very clean rooms, flat screen cable TV, good in room dining, great view of Petronus Towers from rooms facing that way. Great location and good value.
Service from the reception staff was lacking, hallways were old and smelled awful.
I booked a Premium Deluxe room for four nights at the Dorsett Regency and once checked in noticed that the room had a shared door to a standard room next door. We could hear everything happening in the room next door. I asked to be moved that day and staff did not get back to me until approx 4pm the next day. When we checked out we were overcharged for laundry and staff were rude and unhelpful. Check in and check out took a long time. Hotel is great value for money but the bad service from reception means that I will never go back there.

located along jalan imbi with many 5 stars hotel surrounding it, walking distance to the hype shopping mall, Pavillion.
Room was spacious n pricing was definitely pocket friendly.
Full amentities available.
Staff are friendly n helpful.
Nothing that i dislike, if there is anything, it is just got to be the carpark, it was very small n cramped with dim lightnings, unsafe for lone woman traveller if they are driving into the carpark.
Checked into Dorsett Regency for our 2 nights stay with my wife, was greeted by one of the trainee who was very polite n friendly. Concierge staff were also helpful when we ask for directions. Anyway we were given 20th storey which was good n the room was spacious with full amentities(such as iron n iron board) which we were very particular about.
Location wise, it is situated along Jalan Imbi with 5* hotels surrounding it. Walking distance within the shopping haven n the famous food street, Jalan Alor.
Was glad that we made the right choice in staying with Dorsett n will definitely stay with them again if we were in KL next time. =)
Shopping Tip : Its only a walking distance to the shopping mall, Pavillion, Starhill Gallery n even Times Square. Also within walking distance to the famous Jalan Alor food street.
