Handy location, away from noise but close to shops
Large room, view, walking distance to shops

Be careful with taxis as the hotel uses a fixed price to airport however you can walk a few meters and get a taxi who uses a meter (to save money). Porters were very friendly and saved me from being scammed-when asked for metered the taxis sent limousine- more expensive.
Great location a hop from pavilion with happening outdoor dining.

Very good hotel, i will be back
9.7
I booked this hotel for the Motogp2012 weekend and i am very happy about the outcome.
Tthe location is great, very accessible from the southern expressways (coming from the KLIA airport), no traffic jam.
car park (free of charge) is tight but with a bit of attention, it is not a problem.
Going out is not a problem; in 5mns you are at the Pavilion mall, which was enough for us for a bit of shopping and dining.
The staff is couteous and efficient.
Food wise, we had the buffet breakfast, which has a very wide range of food, from asian to western food. it does taste quite good compared to some other similar hotels i tried in KL.
The overall pricing for such a place is reasonable.
Shopping Tip:
Pavilion mall is very close by.
For dining, you can try the Tapas Bar restaurant inside the mall if you like spanish food.

Helpful staff.
Good location of Hotel.
Rooms were nice.
We were allocated a room on the 28th floor (executive lounge) but when asked if it was a non-smoking room, we were downgraded to the 15th floor (without any option being presented. My experiences in the Hotel/Travel industry has always been of receiving an upgrade rather than a downgrade.

Some Cafe Staff displayed a sence of arrogance by not providing appropriate service to the customer(plate & fork not provided when cake bought to be taken to room - instead indicating we should call room service).

hotel close close to shopping and restaurants
walking distance to shopping and food street in Bukit Bintang
7.3
The breakfast buffet is wide selection, the room is spacious with 2 queen size beds, and the hotel is located in exclusive area, surrounded by 5 star Westin, Marriot and Ritz Hotels..
Travel tip:
WI took the skybus at Myr 10 a person one way from low cost carrier terminal to the city terminal (where bus, train, mrt meet) in city, about an hour ride, many tourists take d same bus,the bus is red painted not yellow (also go to city)parked right infron of terminal and leaves about every half an hour.. from there i got a fixed coupon price to take taxi to hotel..so travel light for we need to walk around a bit.as i was travelling with my old mom, in the airport terminal we were asked to go to fast lane to board the plane, to go through the custom, i am impressed by the service...

Great Location and service
10
the room was clean and tidy. linen was fresh and changed daily. towels were adequate and there was a stain on carpet floor but other than that i was very happy with the room. the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from pavilion and other shopping mall. slightly out of the way being at the end of jalan imbi almost but that was nice and noise levels were lower.
they had a band every night in the bar/cafe on the ground floor and the breakfast whilst not out of the ordinary was also plentiful with kitchen staff standing by to make something up upon request.
Shopping Tip:
If you are heading to KL to go Shopping then this is a good place to stay. Close to major shopping malls and the ability to drop off shopping and continue on is pretty handy.

Stayed at Dorsett Regency for 4 days, 3 nights. Pleasant room, big enough for 2 good-sized beds. Bed was big enough for my young son and I to share, so we saved on an extra bed for him. Bathroom was clean.
Air con was very cold at night. Didn't matter that we turned it to max (30 degrees), it was still cold. So we turned it off.
Suggestion: Don't use that horrid flower, think it's called star gazer, for decoration. Stinks up the ground floor lift lobby.
