Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

not the best hotel in bukit bintang...
6
1st time staying there, not too bad. However, my room wasn't ready which was a bummer. Same thing happened to my girlfriend and her friend. their room wasn't ready for at least 3/4 hrs - points deducted off for that!
also tried to order ice for my drinks. that didn't happen. remember its called 'ice bucket'... but still no ice!

location is good. its just where the heavy traffic is about to start along Bt Bintang rd. any hotel a bit further up will take much more time. its near Pavilion and other shopping centres nearby. the hotel looks like it needs a refurbishment. rooms are ok and large enough. judging by the big name hotels nearby you can tell that it is in a good area.
Hotel Feature Tip:
you can valet park your car at ritz carlton and meet customers there instead of at the dorsett if you want to impress;)

Depressingly dated hotel with thin walls
6.7
this is a depressingly dated hotel with sad interiors and thin walls. i booked a deluxe premier, and shudder to think what my room would have been like if i had booked a lower class room. i could totally hear the family in the room next to me - and after the kids had gone to bed, i could hear the bedsprings creaking as the couple got frisky. the in room dining menu was a sheet of paper which had been pasted under the glass topped table , like something out of a grimy diner. i only booked this hotel as i wanted to be near my conference hotel which was fully booked.

Good location and great room with 2 big beds.
Buffet breakfast, location,price.

We have stayed here a couple of times before and it has always been reasonably comfortable. For the price this hotel is worth staying at. 15Rm away from Chinatown night markets and KL sentral, this hotel is nice and central. A short walk from the shopping at bukit bin tang, pavilion and Bergaya Time square. Breakfast buffet is good value and rooms with a view of towers are beautiful at night.
Shopping Tip:
Great place to stay for shopping in nearby plazas.

Strategically located, good room service
Security features on the elevators, good English-speaking front desk, very good room service
8.3
The bell boys at the entrance should greet entering/exiting guests with smiles and with utmost courteousness.
The said bell boys are not that approachable if a tourist would want to ask for tips around the area and for directions in going to places.
The room service is very good in attending to our needs.
Breakfast should offer more flexibility to international guests (more food choices perhaps).
Overall, it is an enjoyable experience. Provided us good shelter in Malaysia and indeed, made us to miss home a little.
Restaurant Tip:
If you are not too much into spicy foods, you might try to walk to Jalan Alor for some of the best and authentic Chinese cuisines at reasonable prices and terrific food!

The place had no free wifi, but it was close to the monorail Bukit Bintang. Very close to all the major shopping outlets. Rooms were clean and spacious.
