Hotel provides good value for the price

The hotel is a little outdated (90's decor) -that was the only negative but it was not really an issue. The room was clean, comfortable and the facilities were sufficient.
The rates paid for my stay were very good and made it well worth it. Had an awesome view of the Petronas towers which i think in itself made it good value for money. The Bukit Bintang plaza was 5-10mins walk away.
The floor i was on (27th) was quiet and i did not hear anyone else the whole time i was there.
Breakfast was good but could have had a few more vegetarian options. Apart from that there was a fair selection.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and i really appreciated the smile that none of the staff were hesitant to give even when i had a lot of questions to ask regarding things to do in the city and how to get to places.
I would stay here again and recommend it to those who want to be close to things but not spend a fortune.
It isnt luxury - if you dont mind about the decor and old fixtures but care about service and room cleanliness then this place is fine. But again, good value for the $$ spent, has everything you need.

The hotel is located near shopping places. There are many department store to go by walking. The hotel offers good service and helpful. Breakfast is ok, many choices. The room is small but not too small. Totally is ok as the hotel rate is quite cheap at this location. The decoration is Malaysian style which is nice.

Great location with big rooms
5 to 10 minutes walk to Starhill and the rest of the shopping mall along Bukit Bintang

stayed in this hotel for the first time as my training venue was in ritz carlton which was literally side-by-side with dorsett regency (bout 3 minutes walk). chose dorsett over ritz-carlton because of the price differences. overall, i'm very happy with the services and room conditions, at night i could easily walk to bukit bintang for a quick shopping and bites. don't expect anything too luxury from this hotel as its a rather old hotel with decent maintenance.
