This hotel is situated at the golden triangle. It is within the vicinity of Bukit Bintang. Pavilion Shopping Centre is within 10 minutes walking distance. Nice hotel, with great service.

The Dorsett is within walking distance to Bukit Bintang and all the shopping centres there, but it does take around 10 to 15 minutes stroll to Bukit Bintang LRT Station which is the nearest one, so maybe a little further than would be ideal.
Staff are friendly and you can arrange tours from there. Hotel is fine and to a clean standard, although does feel slightly dated, but not really an issue. Buffet breakfast is also good and the bar at ground level next to the lobby can be a good place to relax in the evening away from the busy nightlife in Bukit Bintang.
Perhaps not quite value for money for us, but we did book late and in holiday season, so... I would stay there again if I went back, but I would also look to move a bit closer to the action around Bukit Bintang or towards the KLCC station and Petronas Towers.
Shopping Tip:
The Pavillion is a short walk up Bukit Bintang for high end shopping. Taxi on the meter [blue top taxi] is very cheap and easy to flag down and get around town, although traffic is part and parcel of KL, so don't expect it to be fast, particular close to rush hour times.

the hotel is 4 stars but really i feel like 5 stars hotel. the interior decoration and furniture is good. clean room and a really good breakfast. when you go out you will be at the central triangle of kuala lumpur

Good and Friendly services with ideal location
Hotel is close to Bukit Bintang main attractions and shopping centre and food, lots of food to choose from.

the room is clean and the bathroom is clean too.
the hotel staff is friendly and gave their effort to find a vacant room for us to check-in earlier without us asking them to do so.
the room facilities are great and functioning well.
overall, it is worth for the money spent.

hotel is located at the best shopping area with walking distance to the famous bukit bintang walk but driving to the hotel might take 1/2hr to 1hr due to heavy traffic. staffs are friendly and helpful. rooms are clean and spaces but wifi is expensive. deluxe room only come with 1 breakfast but additional breakfast is at reasonabale price per head. lrt station is about 8mins walk. the only thing we dislike is late check in after 4:00pm while room is still not yet ready. the car park is narrow and limited. we will definitely come back to this hotel again in the future.

Great Location (besides Pavilion)

The location is perfectly great as it is just nearby KL Pavilion & Bukit Bintang. By walking distance, we can reach Pavilion, Farenheit, Berjaya Time Square, Sungei Wang Plaza & monorail station. It is very convenient for us. The hotel is quite nice as well but I still feel that the room is slightly smaller. But it's quite valueable with the promotion price. The breakfast is not really nice & quite costly.
Shopping Tip:
