The hotel is well located for Ampang town and, if you drive, well situated for the centre of town.
Not a good place if you plan to walk. Reasonably priced dining at the Delifrance Bistro.

The hotel not far from KLCC and the best of all it is away from KL busy life, even it is located in the city.
The hotel looks clean and the service was good.
Only think is to be careful with the taxi charges to this hotel.
Apart from that traveling was good in KL. Once back from traveling you will enjoy staying in this hotel.

Noisy Hotel

The hotel upgraded me to a suite. It was very large but was on the side of the hotel by the roads. There was a lot of road noise so I downgraded my room the next day. No road noise on the side of the lake but the cleaning staff is noisy in the halls in the morning and much of the time they play music in the common area that I could hear in my room. The "deluxe" room was frayed. Furniture is worn. One day they did not leave me a towel but fixed it when I called. It's a functional hotel but not luxurious. I stayed there as it was near my meetings. If you are a tourist, it's not a good location. There are restaurants nearby, albeit across 2 busy roads.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room with a lake view (and less road noise).

Had a very late check in and first room i was given was dirty! The rest of the stay was ok. I needed to stay in this area for a couple business meetings that were near by, otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere, as it is not too convenient to get downtown from here and troublesome to find a taxi driver that will return at night. On the other hotel is quiet and scenic , if u want a hotel on the outskirts of kl with a pool, a park and a lake then maybe this is the hotel for you
Restaurant Tip:
The breakfast at the hotel is a reasonable option, as there are not too many eateries around the area.
