great location no free wifi in the rooms

the location is good although its kinda in the back of berjaya time square, its a walking distance from the mall and if you can walk more you can reach the popular malls in the city.
the breakfast is great. the swimming pool is good too. there is no free wifi in the room so you will pay at least 10-18rm to have a wifi in your room. the staff are nice.
the most that you need to be aware of is the taxi drivers.some are nice but mostly abusive since most of them don't flag the meter down when they know you are a tourist. bring your own umbrella it might come in handy since mostly it rains in kl.
Shopping Tip:
go to kwc, cheap women and children's clothes are mostly available here. when you buy in bulk the cheaper it gets.

Value for money at a good location
value for money, near shopping areas

Rooms are clean, comfortable enough and within walking distance to the Bintang shopping areas. However, the vicinity of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Room service was acceptable. Lift security is present but can be a bit troublesome at times as each floor needs card access.

Overall the hotel is walking distance to berjaya time square .Opp of the hotel got quite a number of restaurant n good food stall too. Reach hotel abt 2pm and we given free upgrade.

We were upgraded during our 3-day stay. In spite of the bigger room, the overall cleanliness e.g. the carpet did not seem to be clean.
For the daily buffet breakfast, there were a variety of choices. But nothing really taste exceptionally good. And, we saw some of the chef/cooks handling food with their bare hands.
On our last day, Monday, we saw an elevator repair man, repairing one (1) elevator.
We occupied 5 rooms during our stay. We really think SERVICE can be further improved.

A bit over-priced. Staff served in the restaurant for the morning buffet was not very efficient. Food served in the morning buffet needs to be improved. Food quality and variety is poor. However, the only pros about this hotel is the room is clean.

Hotel was quite hard to find as it is situated in area which is undergoing upgrading works, however hotel is pleasant and clean.

it is near to the shopping mall Berjaya Times Square

Good breakfast, good location, walking distance from KL city, staff willing to go the extra mile for you.

I enjoyed it very much. The rooms were good size, bed sheets are clean, floor and toilet is clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good experience, will go there again.
Shopping Tip:
It's walking distance to a lot of the malls in the area. And KL is always crowded, so taking a taxi or driving is out of the question - walking was super easy!

All in all great value for money. Pool was OK but drinks by the pool were very expensive. We received a free upgraded room on arrival which was a nice surprise. No free wi fi in the room. Had an early flight on our departure day, booked a taxi through the hotel however he did not show up and was late.
Shopping Tip:
Use the free shuttle in the hotel to take you to the mall near by called the Pavillion. It's amazing and be sure to eat at the food court underneath. Great value for money and so many dishes to choose from.

A Hotel with Great Hospitality

This is most probably our 5 visits to Furama. We have chosen Furama as our preferred hotel whenever we visit KL. This time, friendly staff of Furama sent a fruit plate to our room for being repeated guests. Great service and we felt warm!
