the hotel does not locate in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, but it is only 8 mins walk to a light rail,easy to reach any places in the city.
Do not expect a 4 star hotel, it is just a normal one with small room and old facilities, but clean basicaly.
I don't like the breakfast there, considering that there are many indian guests in the hotel,the food may please them more.
On the whole I think it is value for what I have paid.

When I decided to book this Hotel thru' Agoda, the description on the web site was so impressively. I have stayed in a few hotel in Kuala Lumpur and this is my first time staying in Grand Continental.
My first experienced was already disappointed me. When I arrived at almost 4 pm, I was told that there was no room yet and that I have to wait. When I checkin into the room, there was only one bath towel despite registering for two person. I called for an extra bath towel to be sent but it took more than 5 hours fro the towel to be sent. That was also after calling the front desk twice and the room service department.
There were 3 passenger lifts but only one lift is working even on Sat and Sun. This cause for a long waiting time to get down or to go up.
Only one of the hotel staff that I spoke to is helpful and sincere.
Reception service - Bad experienced during checkin

- There was only one bath towel despite booking the room for 2 person. Take more than 5hours to have the bath towel send to the room.
Lift - Only one lift was functioning even on Sat and Sun. You have to wai a long time to go up or get down.
- Restaurant Tip : There are many restaurant surrounding the hotel. You should have no problem to find something good for you.

You can see good view during the night from the rooms.
You can travel anywhere with ease because the location is good.
Very near to the station. The room was large enough for me. Very good night view.

It was a very skeptic entry as they said wifi chargable and it was in small letters that it was written free for continental suites only. Put me off, gave a good room with view, quick desk work, breakfast so so. Centrally located.
Clean, lazy, peaceful, not much fuss, good respectful stay, good views.
Slow service, sticky talk, under repair equipments, bad TV.
- Nightlife Tip : Walk a bit around, and you find good local and original KL flavor food and other stuff.

As I have never been to KL, price was pretty good value for this hotel. Location is not the best. It needs some improvement in image/outlook. On the whole it is a clean hotel, although they did not change the bed sheets every day.
Easy going staff.
Bedsheets not changed at all, just straightened up.

Although rooms were clean, the bedsheets were dusty and not suitable for children.

Generally clean and decent for the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, they help my husband and me with directions around town. When we comment that the bed linen and blanket look worn out, they change a new set for us promptly. Complimentary breakfast is standard continental, good to start the day with but could taste better. We like the twin tower view from our room window.
