i have stayed in the hotel before and it is perfect everything you need is around , in the hotel with great service and right there.
busy as always , not much really except the pool could open till 10-11pm because it is hot and a nice dip with the kids will be great. pool closes at 8 which not so great.
absolutely fantastic hotel, staff are great and very curtious, no one should even discount a reason not to stay in that hotel. great with kids , extra mile to do things, we forgot our camera, they developped the film and sent us the photos. great location, staff & place- reasonable
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : everything, the hotel have one of the best night spots in town, with a band, shopping is a foot away and you right in the middle , no way you can get lost, it is so close you do not need to carry anything just come back to the hotel change and off you go

rooms need a revamp. breakfast not great
we weren't asked upon check-in if we wanted smoking or non-smoking and ended up with a smoking floor. all the furnishings in the room stank of cigarette smoke including the pillows and bed linen. I assumed (wrongly) on check-in that the whole hotel would be non-smoking. as we were only booked for two nights, it didn't seem appropriate to change rooms for our last night. could smell cigar smoke from an adjoining room for the greater part of our stay.
Shopping Tip : KLCC shopping better than Pavilion which is right next door. Night market in chinatown is excellent.

Nice 5 star hotel, the room is clean and spacious
service is good but not a 5 star service. Breakfast is nice with a lot of different dishes, the position is centralise, short walk to Bajaya times Square, Star Hill , Pavillion & bukit bingtang shopping.
Check in & check out is the worst part, you don't even have to stand in line for check in at the mini hotel or other 5 star hotel. Everyone was complain about the way they arrange for check in, I have to wait for an hour before you can do your check in, and check out the same. I've been to a few 5 star with check in service very quick and proffesional but this one not even compare to a 3 star service check in.
Nice Hotel, good position, cleanliness, breakfast excellent. if you want to buy real brandname clothing then short walk to Pavillion shopping centre very big, Very big food court with all nationality restuarants, also relax with fish spar and food massage only cost about $10.00AUD each session. if you choose for shopping with average price then walk to bajaya Time square shopping with everything from cloths to food & jewlerry.
The Hill Star is very special place with all the restuarants with different decoration most of all decorate by lantern & glass bottles & glasses but looks very elegance . Since you walk into Star Hill it's make you feel like paradise, every step you walk take you to a new style of walk way and surprise every step you walk til you get out of it.
Shopping Tip : short walk to bajaya Times Square, star Hill, Bukit Bingtang Walk, Pavillion Shopping centre. very good location all restuarants & shops surrounding hotel.

beautifully decorated foyer, fantastic restaurant food and staff, great location.
Longer waiting period due to less staff during check-in.
absolutely fantastic hotel, staff are great and very curtious, no reason not to stay in that hotel. great location, staff & price are reasonable. The food at The Zing restaurant are simply delicious. Hotel is right next door to best shopping centre in Bintang Walk which also includes a cinema complex. I would definately stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : Must try the hotel Restaurant The Zing Dim Sum Buffet. Simply delicious! But make sure you book one day before if your group more than 6 persons and mention your are guest from hotel. They will arrange private room for you.

Service - Room Space - Variety at breakfast Location
English speaking... Location
Overall it is a great hotel - on arrival very welcoming they do all possible to have room available wwhen you come in even if your check is at 2.00pm. Downfall I found on this visit to this hotel is that breakfast is great but the temperature of the food makes a big difference and it was actually cold - so even having alot of variety if the quality is not good - that is a downfall. Service though was excellent - I definitely would stay there again. Location Prime
Restaurant Tip : Have to go to Tarbush

very classey hotel right in the centre of all good shopping.
nothing to complain about
Very friendly staff who are very helpful. Rooms have everything you need except ironing board but this can be brought with a phone call to house keeping. All facilities available and especially the pool area/gym/spa have extensive facilities. Free internet in the lobby. Nice coffee shop and excellant restaurant. Hotel is right next door to best shopping centre in Bintang Walk which also includes a cinema complex. I would definately stay there again.

beautiful foyer, fantastic restaurant staff, great location.
front reception staff did not seem very efficient, room was not ready upon arrival, room was clean although in comparison to the foyer seemed a little outdated (otherwise comfortable and spacious).
overall our stay was pleasant, the location was right next to pavilion shopping mall and was ideal for us. not far from main attractions such as the petronas towers (walking distance). the best part of my stay would be the restaurant staff, they were lovely and cheerful every morning. the lobby is beautiful and does look how it does in the pictures, if not better.

the place is new so smells good.
location is great for shopping and clubbing.
the view from the hotel not so nice
my stay at the Grand millenium hotel Kuala lumpur was an amazing and memorable one. this hotel is quite new that is why i chose it. it is so close to nearby malls such as pavillion which is next door, star hill, lot 10, bintang walk is the best place to drink and also watch the lifestyle of the city people. also it is walkin distance to sungei wang and low yat plaza. alot of people walkin around at night so it is safe. and there are alot of food stalls everywhere to ensure nobody will go hungry too long. the price for this hotel could be cheaper but it is also worth the money as it is so beautiful interior.

Friendly and attentive staff
Housekeeping quick and efficient
Laundry service spot on
Executive Club staff friendly and efficient
Room serviced twice daily and staff efficient and completely trustworthy
Staff in breakfast restaurant very efficient and obliging
Consierge and reception set up slow and inefficient for such a large hotel, long waiting queues.
Our stay was for 6 nights, well worth the upgrade to the Executive Suites.
The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful.
Room service was fast and food delicious.
The pool area and service around the pool is great. Day spa great value. What a fantastic place to stay. Thoroughly recommend.
Hotel Feature Tip : Upgrade to the Executive Club well worth the extra.
Great service, canapes in the evening great, fantastic views of KL, breakfast fantastic, nice place to relax in the early evening.

Near shopping centre, train station etc.
Noise insulation between rooms isn't great.
It is a comfortable business hotel in general. Offers full services for rooms, dining and laundry. The location is good, next door is a big shopping centre, train station is within 5 minutes walk. The hotel room noise insulation isn't great, I was waken up a few time at night becasue of noises from other rooms

Breakfast was great , spa ,sauna, new gym , and able to walk to the best and cheapest shopping centres but ate at the pavilion at nights .
Rooms at little dated but clean and ok for money.
Would stay there again for the money the service was great anything we asked for they got us .It was clean the food was good .It was value for money for us and would rate it 10/10 for money . Close to everthing you need and 15rm for taxi to china town .
Shopping Tip : All you need is across the road there are a few shopping centres there and there cheap also got cheap contact lenses and guitar needs also large sizes in the department store there . China town a must .There are other centre around worth a look but not much cheaper than in aust.

Very close to most of the major shopping malls along Bukit Bintang
High cost of internet access and quote for courier service in the business centre (see review for more details.
We stayed for two nights in an executive room (with DVD player)before going to Bali for a week and for one night in a standard room on our return. Executive room comes with free soft drinks all day and cocktails and snacks each evening (5.30 to 8.00)in the executive lounge along with free internet access and loan of DVDs. Standard rooms are much the same as the executive rooms without access to the exeutive lounge and without a DVD player. We took our brakfast in the first floor restaurant rather that the executive lounge which was wonderful with a huge selection (western, indonesian and Japanese.
Requested a late check out and was given an extra couple of hours (2.00pm).
Concierge was very helpful with information and the hotel stored a suitcase at no cost whilst we were in Bali.
The charges for using the internet in the usiness centre are very high. I got charged RM38 (about GBP7)for about 10 minutes. Also, I enquired at the business centre about sending a 20kg courier package back to the UK and they looked in their files and quoted about RM1,300 (about GBP245) for Fed Ex. I thought with was rather high so I popped into a DHL office around the corner from the hotel and sent a 25kg package for RM687 (about GBP130).
All in all I would stay at this hotel again.
Shopping Tip : The new Pavillion Shopping Mall next to the hotel should cater for most peaples needs
