Nice hotel, but a little old
Perfect place away from the city. Quiet and clean.

i was pleasantly surprised that i managed to check in at 11am as most hotels would only allow you to check in by 2pm.
the staff was also very helpful. i will definitely come back again.
Restaurant Tip:
Check out the Chinese restaurant beside the hotel. Its called Overseas Restaurant. They serve one of the best authentic Chinese Cuisines in town. Be prepared to pay premium though.

2 different pubs to choose from, to unwind, listen to music and hang out with friends

As we'd be clubbing with my girlfriends and dancing the night away, it seemed like a good idea to just go up to our room after we finish our night out rather than driving home in the wee hours of the morning. Moreover, we can drink a little more extra though we didn't get drunk. It was convenient for us to settle in for the night. And had a good breakfast the next morning.
Nightlife Tip:
The Merchant Pub in Armada is a nice place to listen to the band (at the front), enjoy a game of pool (at the back) or just chat with friends in the middle near the bar (where the band music is not too loud to cut into the conversation. Simply the best.

After a few stays at Armada, I only have two complains about the newly upgraded rooms:
1. Some issues with how the vents connect that somehow inadvertently turn non-smoking rooms into smoking ones. I have had 3 room changes in the last 5 stays. However, all issues were eventally satisfactorily dissolved.
2. The shower glass doors are nice but would have been nicer if they could be held shut with a magnet or something. Having water overflowing into the bathroom (from the shower) appears to be unavoidable with the awesomely strong (and nice!) shower.
