Hotel ok but needs some refurbishment...

Not too happy with the service....young junior staff handling reception. Should understand when couple book the room we expect to have double bed instead of two standard bed...housekeeping never bother to check if bedside lighting in working order....room service require us to pay in cash although we have provided our credit card when checking in...this is unacceptable for a "5 star" hotel???It is about time they upgrade themselves in refurbishing the rooms...

Exclusive hotel but poor hospitality

Exclusive hotel, comfortable stay but the staff was very arrogant especially during our check-out time..Not even tried to listen to our question, answering in hurry as if there were thousand clients were queuing behind us (which was none)..We called a reception counter few days after check-out asking regarding receipt during our stayed, the female staff was very rude.Wish the name goes along with the staff attitude.

Splendid hotel, excellent service, worth the money

The room was big and clean, so was the bathroom. Had an excellent pool view. Walking distance to pavillion shopping mall, changkat night life and eateries. Customer service was prompt with friendly staff. Worth every penny!

ideally located within cbd. newly renovated with nice and clean room. staffs were friendly and helpful. within 5 minutes walking distance to 3 big malls, pavilion, lot 10, sungai wang plaza. plenty of hawker food variety at jalan alor, just behind the hotel. definitely a good stay?
Shopping Tip:
Within 5 minutes walking distance to 3 major malls, Pavilion, Lot 10 and Sungai Wang Plaza. Also very near to BB walk.

Great location, spacious room
Great location near to bukit bintang, pavillion and the night spots.

The hotel room is spacious, especially the toilet, which feels good to relax in the bath tub after a long day. There are many shopping centers around and nearby to Hotel Istana, Chinatown is just nearby, where you can find many asian food. Price is reasonable for a five stars hotel.

Nice hotel, great location

This is a nice hotel in a great location. It is about as close as you can get to buhkit bintang & pavilion shopping centre. It is also very close to a monorail station and to chankut where all the bars are, and the food street where all the hawker stalls are. The hotel itself is nice. It isn't quite 5 star anymore but then neither is the price. The room was a good size, with flat screen TV and all amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

this is an old fashion hotel but the service is good. i was surprised to have a big room that is far beyond my expectation, which is definitely value for money. this hotel is ideal for shopaholic travels because it is surrounded by many famous shopping malls. you can also find many restaurants and cafes nearby the hotel.
