this is an excellent value for money hotel even tho at the top end of the star scale. excellent location with an easy walk to shops and entertainment. the sky lounge with its stunning view of the petronas towers lit up at night is a must.

I have nothing bad to complain about this hotel. I felt at home the moment i stepped in and the location is amazing. Right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Very Clean, very cosy and comfortable.
And most amazingly, I got a great price only at Agoda.com.
Strongly recommend any travellers to stay at this hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Just opposite Zouk and KLCC. What more do you want?

upon arrival we ask to get a room with view over the Petronas towers; it's subject to availability and we were lucky to get one! nice room well equipped, free wifi.
On the other hand, i was disappointed by service: we arrived at 11pm and night staff was annoyed by basic questions such as "how to connect to wifi", "at what time does the restaurant close"...

we stayed in the hotel maya in a studio room which was the cheapest/smallest available. the room was nicely finished, looked good, was comfortable, usual malaysian tv options of football on every channel and bbc world service which was great. the bathrooms are cool with see through everything so depending on what you're into could be good. theres a curtain if you appreciate your privacy. breakfast was good, good bar with great views of the city at night. pool is good.
Shopping Tip:
The Petronas Towers are 2 min walk which have cinemas, great malls and good oil museum stuff

Terrible breakfast service; food is not worth the money. We skipped breakfast on the second day. Room 908 is average, showing lots of wear and tear. We asked for non-smoking room, but definitely smell cigarette smoke lingered in this room. We have visited KL many times, not worth for the price even at discount, this hotel needs to lower itself to 3 star, or start re-modeling some of its rooms.
Restaurant Tip:
The building next door has a coffee shop and Subways, just in case you need a quick bites and the can't stand the food at the Maya.

we had a lovely stay for 2 days. we were upgraded due to incorrect booking for smoking room. so the manager upgraded us to non smoking deluxe suit. a very spacious room with lovely views. free coffee & tea and sweets between 9-11 pm at the club floor. with fantastic views of the petronas towers. it was a great location. we were very happy with our stay at hotel maya.

I travel to KL many times and i alway choose this hotel. the room is clean and nice all the facility is new. I like the
location. It's easy for me to go to anywhere. The bed is very confortable. I could get the very sweet sleep. I like it very much.
