Superb Hotel
The Bath Room is amazing..

my stay was simply wonderful, i stayed in the studio room, the bathtub and the showers was amazing. i was really tired when i checked in, so i decided to take a shower. surprisingly i end up showered for more then an hour. there was a stool in the showers, covered with a glass wall where i could watch the tv. so , i sat on the stool while showering + watching tv. how fantastic is that. my stay was just amazing. will go there again soon.

from the moment i arrived i felt good about this hotel. excellent service, nicely styled comfortable rooms, really comfortable bed, wish i would have stayed longer.
really close to the twin towers and a shopping mall right next to the towers. wifi was included for free. did not try the breakfast as it was not included.
highly recommended.

Attractive but can do better

Clearly the business model is that of a grand 5* hotel who wants to exhibit the latest trends in terms of architecture. It does that but only 80% as the newly built facilities come on top of old fixtures that can still be visible. The pool is practically unusable as in a pretty offhand location inside the hotel. Very expensive in-house food, great location though, well trained staff and overall a nice feel. Had a small problem with my internet and they went all the way to send a technician and fix it. That was a good example of attention to customer satisfaction and felt good.

The feature is the swimming pool, fantastic and no one at all most of the time. outdoor but with ceiling, means u can swim during monsoon season rain, Jacuzzi pampering yr body all the ways.

People said that Maya is old, but that's not actually true. Maya is ancient. We stayed in two rooms (we changed first because the view was on a cemetery!) and in both there were dirt mirrors with fingerprints, the floors were hardly frayed as well as all the furniture. I have no idea, who called this a 5-star hotel. Inside interior of a building looks absolutely unpretentious, just steel and plastic. All 20+ floors inside look oppressively similar.
The Internet was so slow, that each website needed about 5 minutes to open and this is not an exaggeration.
Location is truly great, but nearby there are a lot of other hotels, so Maya is not unique in this way.
Service on reception was nice, friendly and smiling, as well as the room service: we asked for adapter and we got it very quickly. The breakfast was perfect too, widest choice of food, different everyday.
But the interiors and Internet spoiled all the impression. Most 3-star hotels have it much better.

The draining of toilet is bad. Need to 3 to 4 times flushing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near to the twin tower. Around 5 minutes for walk.

Great location but small rooms
i like the hotel,s theem.

the location is facing the klcc and with 5 min walking to the it. good service and friendly stuff. free dvd movies (more than dvd movies).
at least, the hotel is more than 10 yrs old but fantastic.
