Surprisingly large rooms, modern, very clean
I cannot think of any, it was excellent
The room overlooked the Petronis Towers on the 17th floor and was surprisingly spacious, very modern and very clean. Staff were very courteous and helpful. As we were just overnight from Australia and on the way to Bangkok, we were quite tired when we arrived, and so pleased to have such a very nice room with a good view. Hotel amenities were very good, particularly the spa pool, and substantial breakfast service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a short walk to the Petronis Tower and the shopping mall.

Honeymoon room which had a transparent glass seperating the bed and the bathing room, liked the sky lounge
Toilet closet was not functioning properly, paints have withered in few places, no follow up on making up of the room if advised to come latter and no proper cleaning of the room
Though liked the location and the room to an extent, I dont think it has the value for money spent. There are much more hotles for better cost. I would prefer to have stayed at Bukit Pitang which is more close to the shoping centers and easy access to transports. The only advantage of staying hear was because of the romatic room which would have been the best if the toilets and paints were fine.

Near Twin Towers, KL Tower, KlCC etc., good concierge service
Direct view on the graveyard, really very small pool but at least heated, Hotel staff not really helpful, breakfast not fantastic but still OK, I would say good 4 star but not 5, not that clean
Its a good 4 star hotel, but definately not 5 star. We had a nice room with direct view on the graveyard, which was not that nice. We tried to change the room but the hotel staff was not helpful at all and tried to avoid replies. The breakfast is fine but also not perfect. Its within walking distance to the towers, which is really perfect....I would not stay in this hotel again, as it is not value-for-money. There are better Hotels in this area within the same price category.

mixed staff performance, leaking shower
Our stay at the Maya Hotel wasn't as smooth as it should have been. Check in was slow, they made a mistake and had got us into the wrong room, this problem was not resolved until speaking with the manager, who did a good job to compensate us for their mistake. We did not eat in the restaurants but they all looked good. The rooms are very modern and we had a view of the towers. There are many restaurants, bars, shops with in walking distance, for places further away the monorail is a short walk from the hotel.

They upgraded our room because the room we booked wasn't available.
It was conveniently located.
They had DVD's to rent.
Taxi's that pick you up from there overcharge.
I would stay here again. It was a pretty nice hotel and I liked the sky lounge a lot.

Well it is nice, very modern design, near KLCC ,e easy access.
Well, thir reception couner looks like some kind of registrar for Military school :) and i suprise that 5 start hotel can be like that.
Very small road for the car, indoor sweeming pool, and most importantly some staff are not very friendly .
It is nice hotel the place where u can be and u can have an acess to KLCC , got KLCC view whih is very nice, the rooms ar quite good , they are quitebig, but when i was cheking in they supposed to change the roomed into Stupdio Prmier or somths, but i was expecting it to be more execitve, but it was not so bad .

Beautiful place, great location, great staff
The Hotel Maya was a great place to spend the weekend. The place is so fancy. Our room was not ready at the check in time so we were given a free dinner. The spa pool was the best part of the hotel with jets on all sides. We took
advantage of the spa treatments with a two hour body scrub and two person massage. At night there are free drinks for guests while you sit on a balcony facing the twin towers. You feel so close to them you might be able to touch them. We loved the Hotel Maya and will come back to stay again.
Nightlife Tip : The hotel is right down town and you can walk to most any thing you want to do!

Most beautiful rooms, spectacular views of the Petronas Twin Towers, buffet breakfast & dinner had a vast selection
Service was bad. Never lived at a self-proclaimed five-star hotel with such bad service.
The minute we walked in, I fell in love with the place. It was soo modern, had quirky, eye-catching features like the twisting stairs made out of metal, and it was only 5 minutes walk from the Petronas Twin Towers.
However, once we got to our rooms and asked for an adapter, we literally had to wait an hour, and call 4 times; in the end, getting the wrong adapter. Gave them a new dress to wash, which they faded beyond wearability, and don't get me started on dinner. Ordered bread rolls, and I was given stale rolls (who keeps stale rolls..don't ask!)
They picked up the pace in the end, but only after numerous complaints, and a talk with management.
Travel tip : Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone which is a shame - it was one of the most beautiful I've ever stayed in, but the service was a huge letdown. :(

wish it was closer to bukit bintang
the rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was delicious!! first 2 nights we had free upgrade to deluxe room was was very spacious and when we came back after we went to Thailand... we had the studio which was smaller but had beautiful view of the twin towers.. very clean and modern.
10 mins walk from twin towers... to bukit bintang you could take monorail but we took taxi which had set rate and cheap..
first night we had in room dining which cost us high and the food wasn't great but we were too tired. we learned not to order in room dining
very quick check in and out
must visit Jalan alor for food!!
Shopping Tip : Suria is in the twin tower, pavillion and times square are must visits
opposite the road is zouk night club which is on every night

Great rooms - and if you stay more than 2 nights they will upgrade you! Wonderful breakfast, Amazing View, Great Location, Friendly and Helpful Staff
They could use more vegetarian choices but they really tried to help.
Hotel Maya is one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited in my life and I have been traveling regularly for both business and pleasure for more than 20 years. The rooms are lovely and well appointed with everything a holiday or business traveler could use, the service is friendly and unobtrusive, the location is ideal - the view of the Petronas towers is really stunning and the floor to ceiling windows helps you to really enjoy the view - ask to stay on that side of the building. The elevated train line is just a few blocks away and an easy walk. The hop-on / hop - off bus tour is a block away as is the Malaysia tourist information center. I have stayed in other hotels in KL and this one really shines. I would easily recommend it to couples, families, business travelers,etc... Oh yes - the hydrotherapy pool is lovely after a long day in busy KL. There is also an in - house spa with a long list of great treatments available. And there is a DVD player in every room and a library of DVDs available for free! You will certainly enjoy your stay at the Hotel Maya and I think you will want to visit again and again. Have a great time!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hop on/ off bus tour is not a great deal - I would suggest just taxi-ing from place to place. Also the elevated train looks like it is convenient and all connected but is really not and not. I would suggest just taking taxis and walking.

Stylish, Elegant, Luxury, Good breakfast, View on Petronas from room window, Excellent Location, Sky lounge with view on Petronas.
Some small details in the room: floor worn out..., Swimming pool indoor only.
Excellent hotel. One ofhe best I have ever stayed. It's worth staying here just to see the oustanding an luxurious style of the architecture and refurbishment of e spaces. Staff is nice and location is perfect: just walking distance from Petronas. Our rooms had view on Petronas. Also the SPA with indoor swimming pool is very stilish. As we checked-out 5 am, we got a nice breakfast take- away bag.
Hotel Feature Tip : Have a drink at the last floor Sky lounge with nigh view on Petronas
