Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great Location, a little wornout, but still good!
Bar with a view onto Petronas Towers
6.7
Stylish, but a little worn out rooms. Good food and a great location. Best feature was the Terrace bar with a direct view onto the Petronas Towers.

still love this place despite it being slightly old looking now. the breakfast is still the best that i've had in all my hotel stays so far, buffet plus a-la-carte styled with mini steak, wonton noodles among my favourite! the rooms are spacious and the side facing the klcc is very beautiful esp when its lighted up at night. the lounge serve nice snacks in the evening and the ambience is great in there too. its a pity that i'm always there for work and have little time to enjoy my stay. oh yes, not forgetting my favourite buckwheat pillow!!!! its a pity that they dun sell the pillow :-(

Funky old hotel
got a free upgrade to a suite. they have a cbtl coffee / tea maker in the room.
7.3
the hotel is very old. exterior looks new but the internal room (especially toilet) is bad. the hook for the bidet spray dropped off when i try to hang it back. the bathtub area have wooden doors that're falling apart. the tap at the bathtub is leaky.
they have a small fabric carpet at the working area that doesn't adhere to the floor and therefore very slippery for unsuspecting guest. got to be careful.
the building is sort of perimeter of a square, the centre is not air-conditioned. so right out of the room, along the corridor can be warm.
the cbtl coffee and tea maker is great.
Nightlife Tip:
Zouk disco is just opposite the hotel, across the road. Super convenient if you want some night life.

Lobby was bright and warm. No customer service throught my whole stay. Stood waiting for minutes before staff even noticed me. Tried to check in with room fully paid but they required a hold on my credit card for.I refused as I don't carry credit cards on,only debit credit cards. I have stayed any many hotels in KL before, never needing my credit card. Usually a small cash deposit was ok. Eventually a small cash deposit was sufficient. So my first impressions was no very good. Room was nice and roomy for a single. View of KL tower and cemetery was a bit off putting. Food very expensive and quality was lacking. Hydro pool fantastic. Not for kids at all. Gym modern. Spa again expensive. Good point its a short walk to KLCC and twin towers. DVD's are free and new up to date range. TV channels clear. Free tea and coffee after 9pm with a fantastic view of the twin towers. Night club on the other side of the road. Depending on the wind if you heard the music or not. I would stay again but not expecting to much.

Chic Hotel with Fantastic Service
Aesthetically pleasing interior colours and design. Friendly reception and service staff.

The hotel provides absolute value for money. Love the spa and hydrotherapy pool. Feel very relaxed whenever I take a weekend break there. This trip was like a few other trips there before, where they gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room - even before I asked! I will never fail to choose Hotel Maya because of teh great hotel services and the close proximity to the shopping belt.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are one to enjoy having a leisurely breakfast, Hotel Maya's breakfast buffet spread will surely suit your tastebud, and you will not have room for lunch afterwards!
