Good to come back to after a day out

Upon check in I was told my room was not available so they gave me a free upgrade which was welcomed. I only had 1 meal at the hotel in room dining service and the food was good. The only major set back is this hotel is very old. Rooms are a little musty and forget any kind of views as you are smack in the middle of the city centre. My problem during my stay was that renovation/upgrade works were going on. There was a signage in the room mentioning this. The staff respondded work should stop early evening (that means 7pm!!!. I had to call reception as the sounds of men working unbearable. Another thing is the rooms are COMPLETELY NOT sound proof. So its a great place rooms problems!

I have a very relaxed and comfortable stay as everything that I wanted to do was within the reach and access of the hotel. Most importantly, upon reaching the hotel (after a long flight)my check in was fast and smooth. The rooms that I have was well presented and clean. Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel.
