I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in transit or for an extended (5+ days) period. It is a reliable and clean place to stay. Beds are a little too firm, towels have become almost threadbare since the property opened and need urgently replacing, but the shower is good. Be aware that the rooms do not have fridges which is really the only basic thing that is missing. Otherwise its a comfortable simple hotel that is worth the very reasonable room rate. Breakfast is usually included in the room rate and is simple but satisfying for the price and style of establishment. Breakfast staff could be sharpened up a little however. Wifi free throughout hotel but can be a bit patchy so ask for a room that is reliable for wifiif its essential to you're travel or work.
The hotel does do overkill on the number of security staff who live in the lobby area and out the front of the hotel, which in one sense is comforting, but in another sense can be a little intimidating for new guests who begin to wonder exactly how safe this neighbourhood really is. Note: it is safe, never had any problems despite the shady look of some streets.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
use the tun sambanthan monorail station to travel into the city/bukit bintang. its just along the same street as the hotel, quicker and easier and cleaner and less crowded than the kl sentral monorail stop that everyone else rushes to.

酒店交通位置相当方便，是4条轻轨和地铁的集合之地，去吉隆坡任何一个地方都可以。酒店的早餐非常棒，至少我觉得是我此次马来之行最好的。由于属于小印度去，因此印度人很多。最好夜晚结伴而行，不要单独出去

Purpose of booking this hotel was because of need to take bus from KL Sentral to LCCT. Quite convenience as just a 3minutes walking distance from Tun Sambathan Station and a 5minutes walking distance to KL Sentral. Didn't have the chance to try the facilities. Efficiency of staff good eventhough we checked out in 3am. 24hours security at the lobby of the hotel.

我在这个酒店住了3个晚上。这个酒店不是非常大但是很舒适。接待处的伙计人很好,为我提供了一个顶楼的房间,在那个房间里面我可以欣赏美丽的夜景。所有的设备和免费的wifi都能够很好地工作。工作人员每天都很准时地来清洁我的房间。床上有很舒适的床上用品,我睡在上面感觉很舒适。酒店的位置也舒服。我从中央车站(Central station)乘坐火车和巴士到各个城镇都很方便。我想向那些单身旅行者或是带一个朋友的旅行者推荐这里。
如果你需要一个插头的话,可以在7-11便利店对面的一个小商店购买。

We stayed for 2 nights here in early August 2012. This hotel is located near Sentral train station, monorail, and bus station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay. The room itself is not particularly big, but okay for a couple of nights. We did notice the carpet was a little dated. Generally speaking, we are happy with our stay here.

We stayed in this hotel for a night. The location is great where the Monorail is just at door step, convenience if you plan to go shopping at Bukit Bintang. The well trained staff was so nice and polite, helping us even in small matter such as pressing the lift button, although it is not a five star hotel. The room condition was up to our expectation. We will consider to stay in this hotel again in our future trip.

This is a great hotel for a short stay in KL. We used this as a transit hotel as opposed to staying at or near the airport. For this reason this hotel was a great choice. This was my second time to stay here and I would happily stay here again. Breakfast is basic and the staff seem a little surly but overall a very good experience. The towels are in need of a change as they have become quite thin.
Shopping Tip:
7/11 practically next door for anything you may need.

Really enjoyed our stay at Summer view. This was not our first time to Kuala Lumpur and it was nice to stay in a different area this time. The staff were very friendly and always greeted us with smiles and were happy to recommend local restaurants, help navigate public transport, organize taxis etc. The hotel is very close to public transportation which makes exploring KL very easy and cheap. The rooms were a little dated but clean, the air conditioning almost worked to well (was a bit chilly!) the only thing for english speaking guests there was not really any options on TV but not a big deal.
Restaurant Tip:
Check out the local indian resturaunts for great food at a great price. Some are better than others, we really liked on that had a display of sweets in the front and was air-conditioned on the inside and still cost us around $6AUD for a starter, main, dessert and 3 drinks (for 2 people).
