This was an absolute disaster...
Old staid hotel with promise
6.3
Although the staff are polite, kind, helpful and responsive it isn't sufficient to overcome the overwhelming problems of noise and arrogance/ignorance of one of the managers.
There is construction all around the hotel and in Kuala Lumpur they start construction at 7:30AM and terminate at midnight for 7 days per week. The constant banging (their isn't any noiseless area in the entire hotel)will keep you awake and unable to concentrate.
Also, the cleaning staff make an incredible amount of noise outside the door in spite of having a "do not disturb" sign on the door. They yell at each other, speak in two way radios and bang against the door when vaccuaming.
My advice, stay away from this hotel...It's an old hotel and until they finish the tower next door, the Hyatt hotel in front, the noise level is way too high. Also, it's best to stay away until management teaches the front office manager a few management principles.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant in the hotel although costly it has some decent fish dishes. If you do eat at this restaurant becareful, it's the only place I've seen this, their is a space for "tip" although their is a 10% service charge already included in the bill. Tipping is rare in Malaysia.

Great located distance to KLCC twin and other shopping malls( Pavalion & Bukit Bintang. Both my kids love the swimming pool. If Wifi is avaliable in the hotel room is much more better. Breakfast is ok but not wonderful.
Travel tip:
If u love shopping this is the best hotel.

Good location, good facilities and good price!
it's within minutes of walk from klcc. they are currently revamping the hotel to increase the rooms and build a link to klcc. room is clean, comfortable and the pillow menu was a plus.

our return trip to klcc for our anniversary. hotel lived up to expectation the 2nd round as well! breakfast was a little steep given its quality but overall was decent with some varieties. probably will pass on bf if it's not included the next time. will def return when we visit kl again.
hotel was a short ride away from chinatown and times square. walking distance to klcc and other malls.

overall stay in hotel is good, wish they have wifi for mobile devices in all areas or at least the rooms. cant be having a lan wire plug to device all over the hotel that's is the only bad setback.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile
Junior suite is huge and fabulous. Central location.

We were very impressed with the hotel service with friendly smile. The breakfast was fantastic. There were lots of varieties and they were so delicious. They baked their own croissants and they tasted so good.
I loved their nasi lemak which was my favourite breakfast. Every morning they have different sambal and curry for their nasi lemak. Whereas my partner loved his combination of nasi, scrambled egg, baked bean, and baked potatoes, and finished off with a bowl of mixed fruit and yogart. Coffee was great too.
They also have a gym and a swimming pool for those who love exercise. They have a massage spa for those who enjoy or need it after a day of walking the shopping paradise.
They were extending 188 rooms while we were there. So, there were only 2 lifts. However, they promised us that there will be more lifts when the extension finishes. We love idea the air-con walkway from Impiana Hotel to KLCC and Pavillion Tower when it is finished next year. That means you can avoid the humidity, heat, rain, and still enjoying the best parts of KL.
