small lobby & pool vs big room
nice bell boy, free shuttle to kl tower, dry toilet (everywhere have wet dirty toilet)

walk 15 mins could arrive hotel from kl tower. lrt ampang park station just at front of hotel. 7-11 & 24 hours mcdonald is just very near. the shopping mall at road side have local supermarket which is a good place to buy local stuffs.
Nightlife Tip:
It's not true to pay additional fee by taxi after 2100. Surcharge apply only after mid night. Taxi driver is always poor and try to cheat tourist. Always request follow meter to pay or reject his service.

Great location and spacious room.
the mrt station is just 5mins walk away. very close to klcc, you can either walk there or take the mrt, only one stop.

It is an overnight trip for us, we were there to attend a wedding banquet at the hotel, the food is fantastic. The room is very clean and comfortable.

Great location, and great staff, but in need of a refurbishment. Service was excellent.
Room was on a high floor facing main road. It was spacious with a spacious bathroom. Loved the separate bathtub and shower.

was upgraded to premier floor cos they made me wait awhile during check-in, although room was right behind/next to the lift and i could hear the lift in the morning which was quite irritating. the other annoying thing was the room card sensitivity, i had to go back to the counter everyday to get it sorted cos it cant be near anything like a handphone. apart from that, everything was great, love the cleanliness.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
step outside and u're looking at the lrt station, 1 stop ride to klcc rm1.00 and 5-6stop to kl sentral followed by 1 stop ride to midvalley via ktm kommuter. or if u want to go to ikea, all the way from ampang park to kelana jaya and wait for a free ikea pickup. fantastic location, beat the traffic.

We have stayed in Intercontinental hotels around the world and found them all a wonderful experience, however the KL Intercontinental is the best so far and we will continue to patronise this hotel when we return to Kuala Lumpur.
Shopping Tip:
Shop at the Central Market in KL before spending money on fake items at the Chinese Market.
