It was my second time this year to stay at the Nikko Hotel Kuala Lumpur. As before, the Nikko Hotel is very central located in kuala Lumpur and is just walking distance to KLCC. However, I still took the free shuttle bus service to KLCC this time, because of a sudden rain (happens all the time in KL).
Breakfast is nice and many guests enjoyed it after 8:30. Thus I had my breakfast at 7:30 the next day.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Shuttle bus service for return stops at 9pm. KLCC closes at 10pm. It is safe to walk back in 5 mins.

The was one of the best hotels I have stayed at within Asia. From the beginning of our stay until our departure the staff were lovely and very accomadating. The room was very nice with adequate room and features. The breakfast was a feature of this hotel. The food was exceptional and so much to choose from. The location is great as you are a 10 min walk to the towers and Suria Shopping Centre. You are also right next to train stop. The only thing I though was a little disappointing was the expensive charges for internet for hotel guests. I was on for 15 min and the cost was about $5

The buffet was very extensive. The rooms were big, clean, and very nice. The staff was wonderful. Only thing I can complain about was that the wifi connection was very expensive.

This is a phenomenal hotel! Our room was out of this world big , clean ,and wonderful. You can catch the hop on hop off bus on the street just in front of the hotel and see the whole city from there or walk down to the twin towers and be on the subway in 10 minutes.

we spent 13 days in singapore and malaysia and the nikko was easily the best place we stayed. we liked all the facilities we used including the pool and work out area. the rooms were exceptionally large. the hotel is centrally located near the ares we wanted to visit like the petronas towers. the breakfast buffet was great! we will be looking to stay at other nikko hotels in the near future.

the hotel, despite its age, is well maintained and is in good condition. the room seemed to be refurbished recently.
pricing is not expensive if you book in advance - certainly well worth it as it costs a bit more than some neighbouring 4 star hotels which aren't in good condition.
staff were prompt and responsive - so i didn't have to wait at check-in and check-out.
a small problem i had was the difficulty in getting cabs.
location wise, it is walking distance to shopping and restaurants(klcc) and major banks. it is also next to an lrt station - which makes it easy to get to certain locations within kl and pj.
the quality of breakfast is v. good - but the restaurant / coffee house is relatively small for a hotel of this size/stature.
overall, it is truely befitting its 5 star status.
Shopping Tip:
Walking distance to KLCC - just 5 minutes away.
