Hotel with good service
big size beds, nice breakfast area

stayed 3d2n in this hotel. checkin was easy, bellhop was of great help. room was big and the bed was 2 queen size bed together which was wonderful as i had a 17mth old toddler with me also. fresh apple daily to make sure u stay healthy. broadband was a tad too expensive for me which i always think hotel should provide free wifi to all hotel guests. they have a good deli/pastry ship, had a fantastic log cake there.

the nikko looked after us beautifully. the in-house prices for food were excellent - affordable and great food. breakfast would last you all day!!

Convenient location

we had a great stay over the weekend. the rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was perfect. we made good use of the free shuttle bus service to klcc and bukit bintang, and the lrt was within easy walking distance for all other destinations. only complaint was that internet access was chargeable, so we used the free wifi at mcdonald's opposite the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
There is a convenient supermarket in Ampang Park Shopping Centre opposite the hotel that opens till late.

nice and service-minded staffs, location - proximity to klcc, free shuttle bus

staffs here are very nice. concierge staffs are knowledgeable and pleasant. no complaints really, very well-managed hotel. it also provides free shuttle bus to klcc and farenheit 88, which is very convenient, as calling taxi here can sometimes be an unpleasant situation as they don't use meter. very nice breakfast selection.

Pretty good location - can walk to KLCC if it's not too hot or super cheap taxi fares
Drinks at the bar were absolutely huge!!
Got free water and apples every day which was very much appreciated

we had a very nice stay here. the hotel is very good, clean with all amenities. buffet breakfast in the morning is excellent. hotel is very close to the ampang park mrt station. excellent value for money.

Good hotel in a good location

this was my second trip to the nikko hotel in the last couple of months, and it didn't change much. the nikko is a nice hotel, with good services. it takes a while to actually get checked in but once you get throught it the rooms are excellent. they are spacious and the bathrooms are very big too.
the plus side is that you are close to the centre of the city and can walk to most places of interest.
the minus side for me was the breakfast, not the food which was basically like any other hotel as tasty enough, but try to get a coffee ??? plenty of staff walking around with coffee pots but looking anywhere other than at you to save them from actually pouring some. this resulted in, when you actually catch their ear after shouting few times, cold nasty coffee. this happened on every one of my six days

In my opinion this will be the hotel that I will recommend if anyone ask me where to stay in Kuala Lumpur. Spacious room and warmest services. Best in location and great for traveling......
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
All the entertainments and facility are just in a kilometer radius.

very central, near to petronas towers and in walking distance to lrt station. very friendly staff at the reception, travel guidance not that perfect, but ok. very abundant and versatile breakfast buffet, good restaurants (toh lee - chinese and serena), nice club floor.
unfortunately ownership of the hotel will change soon from nikko to inter-continental. let's hope the level of comfort will stay the same.
some minor inperfection due to poor maintenance and the fact that the hotel is not brand new anymore.
