service is great -- with a smile;
rooms are big;
lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel
the street in front of the hotel can get very congested;
taxi driver told us that the door man at the hotel would demand payment from them to pick up passengers to the airport;
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Would go back there next time, and would recommend it to friends.

Our stay was pleasant at the JW in KL. The location is extrememly convenient and there are even a variety of restaurants connected to the hotel. Good, Solid home base in KL. Would definitely recommend.
Nightlife Tip : Go to Skybar at the Traders Hotel...awesome view of the towers at night.

We check in at JW Marriott with high expectation due to the big names they carry.
When we check in before 1pm and ask for twin bed room, we were told that the room will only be available in 1.5 - 2 hours time. So we told them that we will leave our luggage and return by 3pm.
After having lunch and walk around in pavilion mall just across the road, we return after 3pm and was told that the room is ready.
When we reach our room and open the door, I got shock that the room is not clean at all. Unfortunately the previous guess is very messy person. It just look s like a broken ship with baby cradle and iron table still unfold.
Call the reception and the house keeping arrive after 15 mins of waiting.
While they clean and make up my room, the duty manager finally came and told me that they will move me to another room which is already clean up. So we move and everything looks find and we thanks the manager for his effort.
Thereafter, I leave the hotel for 2 hours before returning to the room only to find out that my key is already expire whereas we still have two night to stay. I have to go down to the lobby to renew my key.
At night time, I try to connect the internet and it does not work. Call the operator and she told me that I should turn off my wireless before connecting the TCP/IP wire. Being a computer savvy, I know very well that is not true, but I try it anyway for the sake of proofing. Still fail and I call the operator once more and told her that I suspect the wire is broken.
After 15 minutes, the duty manager arrive to check and she call someone to bring new cable and it works.
One hour latter the duty manager knock our door to handover an apology letter (from the previous manager who is in duty when we check in) together with one complementary box of chocolate.
All this happened on the first day. On the second day, when I return from wedding party at 11.45pm, my key fail to open the door. Its expire again. Lucky my wife is in the room and therefore
Shopping Tip : The Hotel is perfectly located for those who like shopping. Just across the road you will find pavilion shopping mall with lots of food choices.
Walk few hundred meter and you will arrive at Lot10 and also sungei wang shopping mall that connect to Bukit Bintang Plaza.
Further up within walking distance you can find Berjaya Times Square.

Best position on the Ping River and the Night Bazaar only at walking distance.
Staff discreet and very efficient
Nothing for myself but my friend found his room very far from the lift and some lamps and decorations needing to be replaced !!!
First thing I appreciated was the upgrade to a suite.
Everything was excellent from breakfast to dinner at the restaurant with view on the Ping River.
At the swimming pool,our glasses were filled all the day with lime scented iced water without having to ask for it.
I enjoyed a super treatment at the spa and regretted the shortness of our stay (only 3 nights).
Will certainly recommand the hotel to all my friends and will come back myself as soon as possible.....

Location - to shopping & getting around.Right in the heart of main Bitang Walk.
Service is perfunctory, mechanical at best.
Family of 6 stayed for 5 nights.
Two occasions room service eggs breakfast came without sausages after sausage choice was given.
Instructed room service order to specifically redirect order to mother's room number - wasn't done even after confirmed instructions on phone.
Front desk promised to advise on adjoining rooms request - no return advise during any of 5 nights.
Rooms never vacuumed during stay.
Restaurant Tip : Very good F&B choices at basement of hotel.

Located in the heart of KL. It is considered one of the best location to put up for Kl city tour and even to Genting Highlands or Batu Cave. With its closeness to the Chinatown of KL. It is considered as one of the best hotel available in the stretch of Jln Bukit Bintang & Jln Sultan Ismail.

fantastic location - just opposite the Pavilion mall and attached to the Starhill Plaza. Food court at Pavilion is fantastic for variety, qulaity and value. Breakfast buffet was also quite extnensive. Rooms were nice and roomy
Service was not that great. Concierge was not very good or helpful, lots of staff in the lobby area but not really doing anything. Showed up for breakfast one morning at 10:30am and was refused entrance to the buffet - though there was still food available.
Could not ask for a better location and was very presently surprised by the Pavilion Mall food court. Also walking distance to many many shopping centers and also Jalan Alor. The hotel was constantly busy and you have to occasionally wait a few minutes for the lifts.
Service was not the greatest - I had previously stayed at the Ritz Carlton and was wowed by their service ( the concierge had even booked a mini-holiday for me). I was very put off by the attitude of one of the staff at the breakfast restaurant about not letting us in when we were late or sharp at the closing - all we wanted was some toast and cereal.
Bang for buck - the location probably wins it for me and I will most likely stay here again but wary of the service.
Shopping Tip : Food court at Pavilion is outstanding value and seems to be very popular

I am glad I choose to stay in JW Marriott. It is about 5 - 10 minutes taxi ride from KL Sentral. I was greeted by friendly staff the moment I got off the taxi all the way till I got to my room. The hotel is situated near both high and low end malls. It is opposite Pavilion Mall where there are alot of international fashion labels to restaurants / cafes. It is also walking distance from KL conventional hall where the famous Petronas Towers is situated.
The room is very nice. The bed is extremely comfortable with about 6 pillows provided. The only negative point is probably the TV channels. There are not much international choices (which I guess is the same for most of the hotels). The bathroom is fantastic, however the shower area is abit too small but the room amenities kind of make up for it.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much and will not hesitate to choose JW Marriott on my next visit.

Excellent overall - location, service, facilities and the well trained customer oriented staff.
TV needs improvement by providing more accessable international channels. Internet access should be made complimentory in room like what they do in Singapore.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel with the staff being very efficient, polite, and customer oriented. The hotel is nicely located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just opposite the new impressive shopping mall. All interesting places can be reached within walking distance. Best feature of all is the room comfort .. most needed for winding down after long city outings.

The front desk personnel were efficient and yet personal. We did not have to wait a long time for the room The people who cleaned the room were helpful and cheerful.
They only cleaned the room around 4pm, which was the time we came back from our shopping trip.
Our stay was very pleasant as the staff were efficient and polite. Even our request for new bathrobes that were taken away when they cleaned the room, were met promptly and no questions asked. We were lost when we were trying to get to Jln Imbi through the hotel, and yet the hotel staff were friendly and gave us clear directions as to how to get through the premises to get to our destination.

Check-in experience, service, breakfast was not upto expectation of a five-star hotel
The room was not cleaned up when we check in, the Check-in staff did not notice we had had booked for breakfast, only when we reminded and clarified with them, The TV reception was horrible, it is so unclear you can only hear the TV with screen.

Nice Location right in the heart of KL
I like provided shampoo-lotion set.
The TV channels are limited. It can be understood that there are national rules to be followed.
There's something smell, but it's ok.
Well, I arrived the hotel at 11pm and had to leave at 8am. I don't have much time to explore what are provided within the hotel. However, the overall stay was good I could see one of the the KLCC towers. the bed was the most impressive feature of all. There were a lot of staffs waited for you at the foyer giving you impression of being monitored...

Yes the bed was magnificent giving you the most comfortable place in the room
the room gave you a kinda feeling not absolutely clean. there was some smell.
Yes. as I said the bedding was great. I like the room but one thing I have to say is that the room didn't have a laundry bag provided. Too bad because I did have some cloth to be laundered.
I didn't have a chance to explore hotels' pool as I saw it from the upper windows. Perhaps next time I will.
