This hotel is one of the best hotels in this location in terms of pricing and location. This was my second stay at this hotel and i would stay here again!!!! It is Directly across the road from Time Square Shopping Centre, Low Yat Plaza (mainly electronic shops) is located directly behind, then Sungei Wang Plaze, BB Plaze and Lot 10. Imbi Monorail is also located directly opposite which provides easy access around KL and its attractions like Chinatown, KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers etc. Room size was quite large with good size bathroom, however, our view was not that good as we were only on the 6th floor but if you got a higher floor the view would have been better!!!
Close to transport, shopping and nightlife. Good size rooms and comfortable beds.
Small area for breakfast
- Shopping Tip : Don't be intimidated with the asking price especially in Chinatown they will be grossly high, we did not pay more than RM35 for anything there from t shirts to belts to wallets/purses to sneakers. Be firm and walk away, the next shop will sell exactly the same thing!!!
Enjoyable Stay

Friendly, courteous and helpful staff from the Front office to the waiters. Strategic location in Bukit Bintang area next to monorail station is very convenient to travel for sightseeing. With close proximity to Berjaya Times Square, managed to keep the teenagers occupied. Will definitely stay in Melia next time when visiting Kuala Lumpur

I would recommend the Melia Hotel at KL to anyone and everybody. We found the front staff to be very helpful in all of our requests including finding us a shaver. The room had a lot of space to move around in and all of the chairs and the bed were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fresh but could have included more healthy cereals ie muesli or wheat bix or similar only high sugar options were offered. The melia is a great location and we very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks again.
great location, staff and facilities. rooms were very roomy and very clean.
pool area too small and smoking allowed in the foyer
- Shopping Tip : shopping at the metro jaya in the Sun wein plaza was great!!
Nice to stay

We had been traveling since 5am, arrive at 2.30pm and was told the room wasn't ready yet, I said our check-in was supposed to be at 12pm. They told me to come back in 1 Hr I said this wasn't good enough, after complaining and asking to see Manager they upgraded room after 20 mins for 1 night only and said next day we would have to move, so next day I pack up to move and was told there wasnt aroom ready yet and we would have to wait. I told them we where going out for the day and I was happy with the room we had and they said we could stay in that room. I was disappointed with the drama of checking-in and the price we paid for this hotel.
Location
Noisy, bad check-in, and breakfast.

If you are looking for a place stay within the shopping ares, Melia is a good choice, but do not expect the standard of a 4 * hotel. You had to ask everything twice before it was done. It might be a lack of enough personel or lack of English.Breakfast was not what you would expect of a 4* hotel.
The location is central and ideal. Most of the malls were within walking distance. Everything was within reach whether you were looking for food courts, leectrric equipment of the cinema.
The bell boys are very slow, we waited for nearly 30 min for our luggage and we had a flight to catch.
They need more elevators and a bigger setting for breakfast

The staffs were polite, room were clean and tidy everytime we return from outside. Hotel is safe and ideal for family and individual travellers. Generally situated in a stratgic location ideal for shopping and eating. One negative comment is that the I-room's internet connection is slow and it should allow one or two occupants in the room to access. The hotel security, front desk and conceige should assist the bellmen with guests' luggages when the bellmen are busy instead of letting the guests wait for them to return.
-good location for shopping and eating,
-room is clean
-bottled water are replenished daily
-hotel is safe and ideal for female traveller
-the internet connection for the room is slow and should allow one or two people (depending on room occupancy) to access.
