Great location for a business Meeting Stay

Melia Kuala Lumpur's location and its attractive pricing makes it a great accommodation choice for a two days meeeting stay. I have stay there a few years ago and i believe they have just recently upgraded the hotel as it looks much much better as compare to a few years ago. I will defintely come back for my next stay.

Great hotel with a fabulous location
On the monorail station Imbi

Melia has great rooms, good service and is really well located to explore KL. Just outside is the Imbi monorail station which will take you anywhere with a few changes to the main rail sysyem and will also take you directly to KL Sentral - the mail hub for air and bus and train transport.
Across the road is the incredible Plaza Low Yat which on any of its 5 floors sellsanything and everything IT.
Around the corner is the wonderful precinct of Burkit Bintang which brims with absolutely fabulous restaurants, bars,reflexology and related personal services. Great location.
Travel tip:
Catch the monorail and see this wonderful city by freely moving from the monorail to train and then to buses, as you need and want.

The room and breakfast of Melia KL hotel is great. The location aslo good. However, it might be improved to equip with safety box and free Wi-Fi as most of hotels nowaday. Beside, it take quite long time to wait for the reception.

Nice hotel just next to Imbi Monorail station. It is opposite Berjaya Times shopping mall where you can find many nice restaurants including a food court at the basement. I was given a room facing the monorail station but surprisingly I could not hear the trains. The room is quite spacious and come with coffee making facilites, free bottled water and daily newspaper. However the bathroom sink is slow in draining, but was cleared after calling room service. The buffet breakfast is ok but not many varities.
Shopping Tip:
There are many shopping malls and famous street food behind the hotel.

The hotel is located opposite TIme Square and is handy for the mono rail, shopping and tourist attractions. We arrived by bus from Singapore and the Grasslands bus drops you right outside this hotel. The rooms are a great size and spotless. BReakfast was by far the best I've ever seen in any hotel. I do find it annoying however that you need to pay for wifi in your bedroom and common areas - this should be free especially in this calibre of hotel.

Pleasant for a large hotel and a great buffet breakfast including fresh fruits, baked foods, local dishes, noodles and western food, plus eggs prepared to order.
Wifi is charged which was a little disappointing but staff and porters all very friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Most sights, KLCC, Batu caves, China Town, Little India and the Menora Tower are all easily reachable by Monorail and LRT. View of city from Menora tower is better that view from twin towers sky bridge.

my whole family enjoys the stay and chooses to stay at this hotel again during our next vacation to kl. my 2 kids enjoy the breakfast. as for my wife, the location indeed convenience for her, walking distance to bukit bintang plaza, sungai wang and times square. monorail is just in front of the hotel which c convenience for us going around and low yat, selling it stuff just behind the hotel. as for the hotel room rate, it is reasonable and i'll not hesitate introduce to my colleague.
Shopping Tip:
Be caution whenever you bring kids around as they're so many people around in the area during week day and even late at night.
