beautiful night sightseeing with transparent lift

being up-graded to executive floor but no "self cleaning paip"
besides the toilet bowl and there are no "side escarpment way" for trolleys luggages at lobby enterence, have to hand carry up thru the staircase.

The staff was more than helpful the room was a good size location was great close to shopping eating and mono rail We was in the club room ( the level ) well worth the extra money If I had a gripe the breakfast was only bait better than average what you normally get in Asia but the setting was nice in the level room

Nice 4 star hotel but bad staff attitude

Since this is my business trip to KL with my family, I drove my CHT company new Hiace semi panel van. The attitude that the front entrance "Guard Dog" is really annoying! They look down on me and rudely said van cannot park here and insist me parking inside whereas the max limit is 1.88m height. Van is 2.00m height.
I encountered 3 times of this kind of staffs(diff staff manning at entrances). The second time, I need to show him my room card to proof I m a guest there!
And the 3rd time, I really cannot tahan alr! I told the staffs off that whether people driving van cannot effort to stay in 4 or 5 stars hotel?
I will not stay in this hotel anymore! And I will not recommend to people to stay here if u r driving a cheap car or van or lorry!
Shopping Tip:
Berjaya Times Square is just the opposite. Convenient for my family to go shopping while I have my business meetings in KL.

had arrived early on the first day in kl. we stayed at the lobby and had requested to check in early and we had booked for 3 rooms for our stay with friends. we understood that early check in starts at 11am and subjected to availability. about 10 plus am i had to go to the counter a few times to ask if they could give us at least one room first to let all 6 of us rest for a while as we had arrived since 5am in the morning. instead the receptionist gave me a face everytime i came to her asking about the room. i was told the room will start cleaning around 9am in the morning. looking at all 6 of us at the lobby since 5am, nobody bothered to ask what we were waiting for, nobody wants to expedite the early check in, nobody even take effort and bother to ask if our bags need to be carried to our hotel room! after pestering the receptionist for just 1 room for all of us to bunk in first because we were so tired, we check in around 10plus. during evening when we wanted to change the bedsheets and pillow cases for just me and partner to sleep in because other friends had their own rooms by then, i was told that they only change the bedsheet once everyday and the hotel is short of staff! is that even my problem?????! i had enough tolerating nonsense for a day with the reception service for my rooms, and i have to tolerate service from room service too? so when do you change the bedsheet? breakfast was ok. i had requested for all 3 rooms to be with king size bed. and the hotel is forever with "subject to availability' policy. other than easy access to lrt and amenities and shopping centre, thats the only good pointers during my stay. buck up on your service, melia hotel and please let your receptionists know that customers are paying for their stay. smile more & give good service pls!
