Mines Wellness Hotel Kuala Lumpur Info
The MINES Resort City is a 1,000-acre development, transformed from world's largest open cast tin mine to house hotels, a theme park, a convention center and a shopping mall. Located just 25 minutes from Kuala Lumpur and 35 minutes from the international airport, the Mines Wellness Hotel features a manmade beach with sandy shores that overlooks the 150-acre lake. The resort is also home to the only water sports available in the city. Onsite restaurants include Cheng Ho Court for Chinese, the Beach Hut for BBQ, and Abdul & Charlie’s for Asian and international dishes. The Zen Spa is the perfect spot for a little rest and relaxation after a day spent shopping or with the family at MINES Wonderland. An excellent resort, it is definitely worth your stay.

- resort style in the city
- nice swimming pool area
- close to shopping mall & other activities
- easy parking space
- the breakfast buffet spread not so great
- hate the traffic to go to the hotel
The reason why i opt for Mines Wellness hotel is because i would like to feel the comfort of a resort instead of the city hotel. Open swimming pool and bigger rooms. The rooms interior was not really imppressive. The TV is placed in a cupboard which does not provide us to view it from a bigger angle. basically, we cant move from one side of bed to watch the tv. the breakfast buffet was nothing impressive either. I guess what i like the most is the swimming pool and the area is not clustered by tall buildings. Maybe if i stay here a little bit longer, i can appreciate it more.
