Decent Budget hotel for business travel

The hotel has managed to maintain a decent state of cleanliness and good facilities in the room. The reception was very prompt in getting my reservation and checking me into the room. The room is clean & decent enough for a short stay in the Selayang area and the wifi in the room is quite stable. Value for money

The hotel is pretty acceptable for a stay in the Gombak area, and the reception, although simple, was very efficient in getting my booking ready and getting me my room. The room, while spacious, was not in particularly good shape, torn pillow case, cigarette burnt tables etc..but on the bright side, it was really clean and wifi was very stable and fast.

Budget hotel but lowering standards

I've stayed in this budget hotel for most of my business trips in Selayang but this time, it was a more disappointing experience comparing to previous stays. The room was not as clean as before with stained bedsheets, dirty toilets and with no toilet paper or towels..It could just be my luck this time.

This is my 2nd time staying at the home hotel and I'm still impressed with the value. The beds are still clean & big and the common areas are well maintained. The free wireless connection is ok but it can get a little weak if you are in a room further away from the router. Its still my preferred value hotel in the Gombak area

I've stayed at most of the hotels at Sri Gombak in KL and i must say that "My Home" hotel has the best value with nice clean sheets, quiet ambience and friendly staff. The staff greeted me with a smile and the receptionist was great to show me to my rooms and carry my bags. i would definitely want to return and stay there again for my business trip.

Overall, I think this hotel helps me with my short trip because I'm familiar with KL & I have my own car. The best thing about this hotel is we can book it online through Agoda, so it helps people who don't live in Malaysia like me.
