Affordable price for a no-hassle hotel

Overall, it was a good experience. I didn't have high expectations of the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Only negative experience I had during my stay is the really loud drilling and knocking of construction workers next door which prevented me from sleeping in.

The room I gotten is next to the lobby and without windows (all rooms without windows according to the staff). As my room next to lobby,I cannot really sleep due to the noise from lobby, people talking, guest complaining, TV sound from lobby and etc.
The toilet water leveling also not so good; big patch of water near the door and in front of the basin. I have to be extremely careful when moving in an out the toilet.
WIFI is available but i cannot obtain IP-Address. Lucky the 3G coverage is good and I could used personal hotspot from my phone to serve.

Worth your money
Located at the center of Sri Hartamas, surrounded by restaurants and bar, great night life!

New Wave Hotel at Sri Hartamas is a budget hotel that is worth every single penny!
Although the room was small, but it was definitely clean and comfortable.
The location where the hotel is located at is great, as it is at the heart of Sri Hartamas where there are lots of restaurants and bars at night.
It is also easy to get a cab to go to the Kuala Lumpur as it is only 20 minutes drive away.
Overall, I did enjoy my stay at the hotel, and for all those backpackers and people looking for a budget hotel, this is the hotel you are looking for!

Clean n a lots of restaurant with walking distance

I had mention i'll be late check in but when i reached, they had cancelled my booking. I was so surprise but finally they had settle my problem immediately. There's many choices of restaurant with walking distance, coffee shop (with local food), Japanese restaurant, korean restaurant, pub with live band (quite happening during night time), near to Mont' Kiara and Hartamas.

Only the parking was quite an.hassle, the place is crowded with narrow roads but the location is good. No traffic jam to anywhere in KL city, supermarkets, restaurants and bank too.

but the ceiling is leak during rains make the floor is flood.
Nightlife Tip:
have to paid for overnight.car parks.. pubs, reflecology center is in walking distance.. quite a convenience for single traveler..who just need a bit relax..and rest during the night. not suggest for libg stay...

Good stay for a budget hotel. Friendly staff. Preferable if can separate a few rooms for non-smoking stayers. Stinks of smokes can linger for a long while in an enclosed room... Plus providing basic room keeping would enhance stay much more, such as emptying rubbish bins. Don't mind paying a little more charges for these conveniences.
Travel tip:
Not all taxi drivers aware of this hotel. Tell them it's after the fire & police stations and along the row of shophouses ending at the corner facing KFC.. Sri Hartamas not a big area.
No food provided but many eateries nearby.
