Good location; Large guest rooms with large bathroom; Twin bedded rooms have two super-single beds, instead of just two single beds. Aircon is effective. Front desk and concierge staff are friendly and provide good services. Secured basement car park. The basement car park is unventilated, temperature was above 40 deg C! I have stayed in this hotel serveral times in the past 8 years and my last stay was in Dec 2007. The hotel rooms have since been renovated, with, notably, a large wall-mounted LCD TV. My only unpleasant experience this trip was a partially choked sink in the bathroom. I would expect the chambermaids to have reported such defect, which is clearly something evident to them, to the maintenance to have it repaired. Also, the list of minibar content ought to be updated, e.g. two of the listed items were missing from the minibar and I, having informed the front desk, later figured that they apparently were no longer served in the minibar. Nonetheless, my overall experience during this stay with thsi hotel was more than satisfacotry.
Shopping Tip : To save on the costly autoroaming charges, you can get a pre-paid SIM card, which costs only RM8.50 (with RM5 value which is re-loadable). You can buy it from a DiGi (one of Malaysia's telcos) store in the small shopping mall, across Jalan Ampang, opposite the hotel.

shuttle bus always full and ridiculous prices for internet use! right next to Petronas towers which is very central and also close to plenty of night life which is a short cab journey away, Nikko has the most amazing choice of breakfast ever ranging from english, american, european and obvioulsy local flavours!!! bentley bar was also a bonus with good wines to choose from and a nice funky decor to relax in. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we were upgraded to a premier suite which catered for all our needs and more. The pool was great and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was really nice.
Nightlife Tip : bangkok jazz bar a short cab ride from here with great cocktails and music
