This is the last time I will every stay at Nikko. Room was poor, dirty sheets, only one glass in the bathroom and only one cup for coffee. Floor were not clean. Shower did not look like what you could expect from a 5 star hotel.

Nice location. Nice lounge.

Refurbishing the reception. Deluxe rooms on the 18th floor are worn out

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : close to KLCC

The hotel is like a 5 stars business oriented hotel. It has grand lobby, nice restaurants providing delicious food, several function rooms and well decorated guest rooms. It is conveniently located beside Ampang Park LRT station. (Within 2 mins walk) The extremely tall landmark KLCC is just one station from Ampang Park station which means you can always find back your hotel from anywhere in the city. However, some rooms are under renovation and be sure to ask for room that is not next or near to them. Besides, may be there are many executives are guests so that hotel does not have singer or pianist in the lobby to perform. Last but not the least, the spa is under renovation and is currently not available. But it seems after the work, it will be a very nice facility.

1. Elegant swimming pool amidst the city, the spa besides the swimming pool is gracefully decorated to hide the crowded view of the building besides. 2. very big bathroom 3. delicious breakfast 3. high tech water closet in the room 4. extra lobby lounge in 26/F for business class users

1. Like a business oriented hotel but with no free internet access in the room. 2. Some places, like spa, rooms are under renovation.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Extra Lobby lounge at 26/F which is a good place with attractive view to relax or talk business with partners.

I actually moved hotels after two nights of frustration here. This was a nice appearing hotel, and the room itself was also nice. However being woken up at 8AM and other times during the night due to poorly sound proofed rooms and maintenance isn't my idea of a good stay. So after two nights I picked up and stayed at a different hotel. I can't comment on the food as I didn't make any of the meals including the free breakfast, as surprise I was too tired from a near sleepless night. The walk in rate was the same as the Ritz Charlton so don't bother booking unless you find a good deal. Definetely not staying here again.

It was located close to downtown

Noise. The hotel was renovating and they would start at 8AM, so if you were on holiday or stayed up late and wanted to sleep in forget it. You could also hear neighboring rooms quite loud.

  • Nightlife Tip : 10 minute walk to the nightlife.

Nikko hotel was my stable place to stay for 9 months during 2000-2001. Now, they still keep the place to what it was (still no LCD-screen TV but the TVs are the same). Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. At Agoda rate, I think noone can beat the cost effectiveness of this hotel.

Internet and breakfast are inclusive for a good rate. Nicely done room.

None

  • Shopping Tip : KLCC is one station on LRT.

The Hotel Nikko in Kuala Lumpur is really nice, has good service, a very good international breakfast and our 3 kids liked especially the pool. There you can relax and enjoy the break from the lively city. The hotel is located in a nice area where you can just walk outside to enjoy the malaysian lifestyle or you can stay and enjoy the nice atmosphere in the hotel foyer with piano music in the evening.

very clean, nice entry hall great breakfast nice Pool

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the Patronas Twin Tour isn't far away from the hotel

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed in the past and the catering was high in quality and quantity with number of options for customer.Childern enjoyed the breakfast a lot with kind staff attitude towards them and being polite all the time.Taste of the food is excellent and delicious.

Dinning area is clean and neat good variety of food lots of non veg options

in a busy day like on sunday few staffs in the dinning area to help and also little choice for vegitarians

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : easy access to shopping and transport /Aero line bus station was close to Nikko so easy access to those planning to go to singapore

It was my first time to use Agoda reservation service, and I am really happy to choose the Agoda this time. I will definitely use Agoda service, whenever I have an opportunity to travel overseas. I will also recommend to my friends about Agoda.

Kind service and excellent breakfast buffet as well as good Japanese restaurant.

Location of the hotel is not really good for the first comers to KL. Need more shuttle service to downtown and the airport.

  • Restaurant Tip : There is a nice Korean restaurant nearby, within 3 min. walking distance. Also KLCC is less than 10 min distance for shoppers.

Overall the hotel is quite good, the location to be near the twin towers and the nice large gardens is the most positive point, the rate was very competitive comparing other five star hotels at the same area. It is also not far from the shopping area of Bukit Bintange. I will choose this hotel again if I visit Kuala Lumpur in the future.

friendly staff

wearing of some room furniture

  • Restaurant Tip : The breakfast resturant is nice and have multi cuisines. The place is beautiful.

I really like the Nikko Hotel in KL.

Everything is fine.

  • Shopping Tip : If you turn left from hotel you can see the Twin Towers, where a lot of brand-name windows are available.
