Enthusiastic staff, good attitudes. Not noisy, even right at the most crowded street of the city. Near Puduraya Sentral - the Station for bus and taxis to go anywhere in the city. In a walking distance with BB Plaza, Sungei Wang Plaza, and Low Yat Hypermarket.
Thin walls, toilet dripping days and nights. Bathroom is not like a 3-star hotel. My friend's room has a terrible smell.
I spent two nights in Nova hotel, and found it a reasonable place to stay at if you are in a backpack tour. It's very near the food courts, food street and those shopping malls. You can walk outside and find a street full of food stores, Thai food, Chinese and Nonya food with reasonable price. Wong Ah Wah for grilled chicken wings, and 1 plus 1 for a bowl of Sui cao Mee. Great
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Turn right when stepping out of the hotel to Jalan Pudu, make another right turning and walk for 10
mins, there you'll be at Puduraya Bus station.
Turn left, about 50 meters, on the right is 1 plus 1 store with vegetarian, sui cao mee, and dim sum menu, opposite is Wong Ah Wah with their famous grilled chicken wings.
Making a right turning at the corner of Jalan Alor and 1 plus 1, go through the alley to the other end, and cross the road, you will go to Low Yat Hypermarket, and the back door of Sungei Wang Plaza.

Dirty, and needs updating.
This hotel needs bo be updated and it could at least do with a good paint. The windows in particular were filthy. Many aspects of the room are old or broken or just not working properly. The room was not properly cleaned - there was a used tissue and other dirt and fluff under the edge of the bed. We used the toilet once and it then it broke - would not flush properly, then got blocked. The breakfast is edible but nothing really exciting, however it is a standard type of breakfast for this class of hotel. The hotel is however a a good cheap option in a very convenient area just near Bukit Bintang shopping and restaurants.
Shopping Tip : BB Plaza has EVERYTHING you could want.

Near to restaurants and malls. Near also to monorail station. Hospitable hotel employee.
Rooms need to be improve. I could see some small cockroaches around. I don't know if its wifi free internet. Cable TV channels are only few.
To sum up it all, the hotel needs to be totally improved. Although it is quite cheaper compared to other hotels in Malaysia. I hope it would be renovated specially the rooms. Also, it would be much appreciated if more foods will be serve during breakfast. Also the drinks at breakfast, like chocolate, fresh pineapple juice and milk.

Good price for moderate hotel in a convenient location for Bintang activities. On a street with open air dining. Helpful unpretentious staff
If you are looking a modest hotel that is well located for urban activites and good transit, this is the place. It is within walking distance of all Bintang shopping, entertainment, and dining. Light rail transit is a short walk as well. Limited amenities and untrendy decor. A cut above budget hotels in the area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Look up activities at KL PAC.

good ambience, good rooms, good breakfast
the roomes had limited number of tea/coffee sachets.
we were delighted to see the hotel entrance. the service at the reception was prompt. the rooms were good. the arrangement for cabs for local sight seeing was prompt and cheap. the breakfast has numerous items to choose and without any shortage.

Close proximity of hotel to street hawker stalls,
and shops
Hotel was in very unimpressive area although street well known for impressive street food stalls.
The Hotel, although advertised as a inexpensive good value hotel, I think was meant to mean cheap broken down and in bad need of renovations, ventilation & updating.
I have travelled extensively as a solo aussie & the simple requests I made for a nonsmoking room, away from the lift and fire escape could not even be accommodated. The impression I got was " that I was just another short stay aussie that the hotel has shoved into a budget room. Im am NEVER insulting about hotel stays but I feel this has made my top 3 of the worst I have stayed in ever. The toilet leaked despite my calm & pleasant requests, the shelves were all broken, and the appearance of the room was an absolute disgrace. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know through my extensive contacts in Aussie and thru the world. Maybe I will learn to be arrogant and rude and may find my needs attended to quicker. But what a world we live in to have that mentality that rudeness gets you what u want. Even though my room was a standard room, I should not have to book the dearest room just to get clean basic facilities. Very disillusioned Nova and sorry but no more.
Shopping Tip : Malaysia is the shopping mecca, just pick another hotel.

Noisy , sound isolation is very bad. You can hear doors slamming. Foul smell in the room. Some TV channels not working very well.
Internet use is expensive and not available in the room. Hotel should look into providing internet connection in the room. To improve the noise insulation of the rooms and carpet ought to be changed. TO provide a pair of slippers will be good. Ensure TV programs can be watch on the TV.

Room quite small, toilet is a bit old and towel is not clean.
I have a short vocation with my family to K.L,and we decided to stay at good location where we can find to eat easily and shopping. Finally we choose Nova Hotel,we stay in standard room but the room don't have refrigerator and is quite small, cause my daughter don't have much place to move around.
This is a nice hotel for the budget traveler.

The Nova hotel is in a really central position of the city. My girlfriend and i have recently spent one night at this budget hotel. The location was perfect for most of the sites you need to visit and near a lots of shopping malls, the LRT and a lots of hawker stalls. The only thing that lets this hotel down is that air-conditioner had something wrong and felt a bit hot. Breakfast was not bad. I would definitely stay here again and will be doing so later next year.

Deluxe room was big.
Staff was friendly.
Good value for money.
Room conditions were substandard but perhaps acceptable for a 3 star hotel.
Breakfast variety and taste could be improved.
Comfortable stay at the hotel. Wouldn't mind staying there again if going to KL.
Shopping Tip : It's in the heart of KL's shopping district yet u don't have to pay the price of the higher class hotels. Definitely worth it. It lies along a street selling "ikan bakar" (grilled fish)..a must try.

Friendly Staff, located near busy night food stalls, lots of parking spaces.
Washroom too small. Water leaking from the sink. Not many channels to watch on TV. Can hear people talking along the corridors.
Nova is popular among budget travelers. It also always have late check-in and the staff are friendly. Location is good, you can easily walk down the road for a late supper as there are lots of the pushcart stalls and seafood restaurants. There is also 24-hour KFC if you get hungry at night. Besides these, bus station and shopping malls are just 5 to 10 minutes walk away. You won't get lost here.

Nice room, good breakfast, convenient location
Though this hotel is in a somewhat shabby street it's just a two minute walk from a tour bus stop and five from a huge shopping centre. The staff are really great, so helpful and going far beyond what one would expect from a three star. And breakfast included. I think anyone would be happy to stay here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : So easy to catch a tour bus from the next street.

Location is easy to find and very close to restaurants.
Low water pressure, NO spare blanket!! Clean towels arrive at 6pm, need to wait from laundry!!
Cannot believe no one single spare blanket in this hotel!! Housekeeping took all the towels, but didn't return the clean ones until 6pm!! Waiting from laundry...so no spare towel neither!
They do rush you during breakfast! Can't even take one more coffee, it's a tiny place to dine.
