Nice rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, convenient to good shopping and KLCC better communication at check-in about deposits This is a very nice, new facility. Elegant surroundings, lots of amenities, helpful staff. The mall next door (Utuma) has movie theaters, and entertainment wing and loads of shops and restaurants. It's also close to The Curve, IKEA and other shopping. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is ample with a separate shower and bath. The only negative in our stay (family of 4) was that we were not told that we needed to put a deposit down so that we could use the refrigerator (minbar) in our room or charge meals and other things to our room. They didn't unlock the minibar until we made the deposit. Not a big deal but not what we expected at a 5 star hotel.
Shopping Tip : Good shopping and lots of entertainment at the Utama Mall next door

Good Japanese food, easy access to shopping mall and big rooms Have stayed here a few times since its opening as hotel is so convenient. Easy access to shopping for those who enjoy 'holidaying' in a mall - 2 cinemas, lots of eateries, supermarkets, shops galore and pamper spots to massage your tired feet after all that walking. Within the hotel, good Japanese food. Nice pool. Fancy spa. There is a Chinese restaurant but I have not tried that yet. Looks good though. The rooms are generally very well kept. Hence my disappointment during my recent stay that two baby roaches were in the room. Hope this is a glitch in the system that would be fixed as it would be a shame if this lovely hotel doesn't maintain its standards.

Reasonable price. Service level at the breakfast restaurant can be improved. The location is next to One Utama which is a fantastic shopping mall. The hotel looks good from the lobby - huge and spacious. But the rooms are what matter most, right? The rooms are of a reasonable size (by Malaysian standards). There are separate shower stall and bathtub in the bathroom which I appreciate. The breakfast buffet is good. There is no clock in the room, so you will have to rely on your own watch or mobile phone. There are limited TV channels available ... they have only the local channels, CNN, Cartoon Network, ESPN, HBO, Discovery and one or two other channels. Service level at the breakfast restaurant can be improved. The service staff at the restaurant were somewhat slow and did not appear to be happy. I checked out at about 11.30am and there were only 2 service staff at the front desk which resulted in some waiting time to check out.
