We love this hotel. We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway.And purposely chose for a hotel that's located next to the shopping mall. The breakfast is great, the room is clean and large, the staffs are friendly, so there's nothing much to complain. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice room but very poor air conditioning

I've stayed here previously and was quite satisfied despite the hefty pricetag. This time however I stayed for 2 nights in a room where the air conditioning did not appear to be functioning. The air conditioning control was auto programmed but even for a set temperature of 20 degrees it was blowing warm air in for most of the first night. I awoke in the early hours sweating and was unable to get back to sleep. The technician responded promptly and although things were MARGINALLY better the second night but the room was still hot and stuffy. I would rather have opened a window but it was not possible. I'm not sure if it was just my room or a maintenance problem. The front desk was aware of my problem (I requested that it please be a priority before i left for the day) but i was too exhausted to complain again on the second night. Wont be back again

Great Value, Perfect Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at One World and found the staff, rooms, and common areas to be of exceptional quality. The staff was very friendly, and happy to assist with any request I had. This included going out of their way to find me the name of the artist that did all the paintings lining the lobby and hotel rooms! The room was clean, spacious and comfy, and gets huge points from me for having pillows with four different "fluffiness" levels! The only drawback was the tv, which was internet based (I think) and often skipped or lagged.
Breakfast was good and had a wide selection, and having the attached One Utama mall was a great convenience for other quick and easy dining options. The hotel is outside the city, so traffic in the area isn't too bad. If you pick the right times, you can make it to the towers in 20 minutes.
I highly recommend the property, and would be happy to stay there if I find myself in KL again.
