My stay was short so I couldn't make use of the kitchen. Very nice place, I will go back if they make the internet available in the rooms!

I would definitely stay at this hotel again if visiting Kuala Lumpur. As a single female traveller, I felt perfectly safe here and in the surrounding area. It is located conveniently and it was a great spot for our group of friends to meet up and stay for our friends' wedding. The rooms overlooking the KL Tower were wonderfully quiet at night and had stunning views. The restaurant was reasonably priced for food and the breakfast buffet catered well for all tastes and needs. For the price, it was very good value.

The room was a generous size, quiet of an evening and nicely appointed. The location was great for my purposes within an easy walking distance of the Kuala Lumpur and Petronis Towers and Bintang Walk.Great pool and views over KL. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The prices of all drinks (even non-alcoholic) were reasonably high, but this is apparently quite typical in Kuala Lumpur

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is right across the road from the KL Tower and within 15 minutes walk of the Petronas Towers and the shopping street of Bintang Walk

Pacific Regency provides free wireless internet service in guest rooms and also comes with a nice spread of fusion buffet breakfast. Roof top pool & bar concept transforms into an interesting chilled out bar during the night which operates till late night. It has a great view up there. Overall, it's definitely one of the top choice hotels in KL.

Pacific Regency's apartment concept is really a good experience, service staff are all very friendly, it's really value for money. Rooms are huge and clean, with built-in kitchen and sofa couch. Suite rooms are a lot bigger. fitness centre is well equipped. Nice roof top pool and bar concept.

Nothing really negative about this hotel except that it's not within walking distance to the shopping district, but it's easily accessible by taxi, estimated 5 to 8 mins taxi ride to famous shopping places like KLCC and Bukit Bintan road.

• Nightlife Tip : Location is very near (5mins walk) some happening night spots. For accessibility to the fitness centre, please remember to take a different set of lifts that links to the hotel.

We would recommend this hotel to all travellers, whether for work or pleasure purposes. My husband travels back to KL and to India often for work and is considering making Pacific Regency his home away from home each time, even though his office is in Mont' Kiara.

• Shopping Tip : KLCC is nearby for upmarket shopping, and Bukit Bintang is within walking distance, but a taxi ride back as your arms will be full of shopping of all kinds - from upmarket to electronics to teen and young clothes.

The hotel is just opposite the entrance to KL Tower. Walking around the city is great due to the hotel's convenient location. Very large rooms. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool (privacy, instead of having people in all the surrounding office buildings seeing you). Great food and beverage facilities - a number of them. Staff were excellent, polite, efficient.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're planning on going to the Petronas Towers (skybridge), make that your first stop so as to get tickets for a scheduled/timed departure. Just going there thinking you can go straight up the tower doesn't happen in that way (the scheduled departure means you could be on a tour three hours later). Also, if it's stormy weather (as is often the case in the afternoons), go up the KL Tower anyway for a fabulous experience in the middle of the clouds and storm watching the lightning on every side of the building - it's wonderful seeing everything lit up all around you.

Quality stay but good for short period Guest Rating: 4.2

The hotel is only good for short stay or business traveller. It is not recommended to stay at this hotel if you having shopping plans or are craving for night life. The better stay would be at city area or concorde where there are more happenings around that area for a fun filled night life.

• Hotel Feature Tip : The pub at the pool level is amazing, beautiful ambience, enjoyable to have a drink.
