Good location
Not far from the shopping centres and twin towers, hotel is just opposite the KL tower
8.7
Hotel was quite nice staying. We stayed there for 8 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Shopping malls are like 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Should improve on breakfast - not enough variety.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff service
conveniently located at the doorstep of kl tower; staff service with a smile
9.3
the staff service is friendly and accommodating. they gave us free room upgrade. the hotel is conveniently located at the doorstep of the kl tower and our suite is overlooking the base of the tower. the suite is more than spacious for us but we are not complaining! the hotel is a 10-min walking distance to klcc and one would not mind the walk because there are many restaurants and bars along the way - great spot for nightlife.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
just cross the street from the hotel to kl tower, wait for the free shuttle bus to take you up and soak up the view from above. also, try the revolving restaurant at the top of kl tower for that romantic dinner for you and your spouse. you don't need to rush back since your hotel is just a few steps away.

this is a nice hotel worth the money you spend per night. big and clean rooms with all the necessary facilities you need. the location is pretty central with walking distance to shopping, restaurants and all other tourist needs.
Shopping Tip:
twin towers just 10mins walk from the hotel

If you looking for reasonable price with big room & good location, that's the one. The only drawback for us is the small shower head with slow Water flow.

Good hotel-but average service, Great restaurant
Very close to KL Tower, nice room, nice view, good restaurant
8.7
The hotel location is close to KL Tower. But if you plan to visit many other places, the best way is using taxi. Bus stop is a bit far by walking, monorail and MRT station are farther more.
The service is not so good. Don't be surprised if you are told to order taxi by yourself to the ground level. We can't order it by calling from our room whereas it's stated in guest guidebook that it's possible to order taxi by calling room service. Even, we can't pay the taxi service to airport integrated with our room charge, they only receive cash.
Room is nice. Pool on rooftop (34th floor) gives you best scenery of KL city skyline.
Luna restaurant (34th floor) is also great. Great food, great view at night.
Restaurant Tip:
try the favorite menu (grill ribs) at Luna

Room furniture was old and noise proofing was bad
5.7
I stayed there 5 - 6 years ago and had a very nice experience. This time, was given a room that looked past her best days. The phone did not work and the decor looked old and jaded.
The noise proofing in the room was also quite bad. I could hear the traffic and also crane that was just outside my room window.
Although they gave me a free upgrade to a larger room, I will not likely stay there again - unless they renovate the rooms and put better sound proofing.

Nice Hotel but location abit far
Huge Bathrooms, Spacious Rooms, Beautiful Hotel
8.7
This is my second time staying here and yet again its been great. The hotel is quite nice although its not huge like other 5 start hotels. The service is excellent, staffs are very friendly. Their rooftop swimming pool gives a nice view of KL. The best thing about pacific regency is their spacious rooms and huge bathrooms! For those first timer coming to KL the hotel is directly opposite KL tower so its easy if you want to visit it.
But if you want to go to Bukit Bintang Area or KLCC area, it is quite a distance. But if you don't mind walking abit den its fine actually. There are to nearest LRT stations near pacific regency, it will take you to all hotspot in KL like Times Square, pavillion and KLCC. Its also quite near to the Bars and nightlife area. so Enjoy!

Pretty bad in every category
in KLCC, but away from everything (not near twin towers or Pavilion)
5
everything is pretty bad. the upkeep is not great, the pool is so-so, the location is really weird (although it's in klcc it's in a part where everywhere is a bit of a walk). the service was semi-ok, but the thing that ticked me off the most was its staff (concierge/transport) probably didn't have its guests' interest as #1 priority. we needed a taxi from the hotel to the airport, and asked the hotel to get us a taxi. the ride from airport to hotel was 74 ringgit, but they asked us for 150 to airport. we said we just needed a normal taxi, not the "hotel taxi", they said normal taxi would cost 100. i said ok, then we'll take normal taxi, then they tried to give us a discount for 120, i said we only had 100 left, and they took our 100. just made me feel kinda iffy and sketchy... also, we were told all phones on our floor didn't work. there was no mini-bar, you can order snacks from room service, but they charged us 28 ringgit for the chips we wanted, because they said it only comes in a "package" of chips, two sodas, two fruit juices.
Travel tip:
KL is just not a great place for a leisure trip. Choose somewhere else.
