Hotel facilities not in quality
Our room got TV set and bedside lamp not working, My daughter 's room got phone set not working. Water in swimming pool is smelly.

Happened twice that Housekeeper removed all old towels but did not put new towels. We reuse toothbrushes , but housekeeper threw away our toothpastes and did not give us new toothbrush sets. So, no toothpastes in room.
Hotel shuttle was late for half an hour
I would not recommend this hotel to others.

spacious rooms but disappointed with check in

disappointed with check-in. first they could not find my reservation. when they did find it, they gave me the wrong type of room (I booked a lakeview room). then they had to be reminded that I had requested for an extra bed in the room, which gave me the impression that they did not bother to read my reservation properly.
the layout of the hotel was poorly organized. it was hard to figure out how to get from place to place because the floors
were not interlinked & there was no proper map/directory of the hotel compound.
there is a water taxi jetty, however, there is no proper path to the jetty. there is a shuttle bus to KLCC and the Mines. However, please note that pre-registration with the concierge is needed. the concierge staff did not mention that when we requested for the shuttle schedule.
the location is not very accessible by train/bus. a cab to the nearest train station is around RM20 or less.

Big room with easy access to The Mines

This place was great for shopping at The Mines with free shuttle or water taxi from Hotel. There is also a free shuttle to KLCC several times a day. Easy to get taxi but mainly premiere taxis service outgoing from Hotel.
Lovely service and staff, great buffet brekky. We would stay here again.

The services can be better. No towels upon check-in as well as after housekeeping services the following day. Have to call and request for towels each time. Disposable slippers are also not provided which is surprising for this class of hotel. My daughter's facial wash was thrown away by the person cleaning the room which is shocking and for which we made a complaint at the front desk on checkin out. Fortunately the room is of good size and reasonably clean.

Luxury and 'cosyness' all in one.

We visited the hotel in 2003. Now, almost 10 years later, we were pleased to find that the hotel is still in tip-top condition. Service was also good.
Shopping Tip:
Do visit The Mines Shopping Mall while you're there. In 2003, it was run-down but now, it's bursting with life.

A Perfect Gateaway Palace
The rooms were fantastic. Personalised service was given, the staff there were very polite, forthcoming and pleasant. Room service was excellent. The swimming pool was very good.

We booked the hotel for 2 nights in Dec 2012. We liked the staff working in the hotel, they were so friendly, pleasant and helpful. Checking in was a breeze. Hotel security is good. Lifts operates with key, which are only given to the hotel guests. We booked four deluxe rooms with breakfast included. Rooms were very well maintained. Room service was excellent. Whatever we needed was given to us in the shortest possible time. Breakfast was good with a wide variety. The kids enjoyed their stay there and they loved the swimming pool.There is also a water taxi service that can bring us to MINES resort if we are interested. There is a shopping mall there with plenty of food stalls too.
Shopping Tip:
There is a free shuttle service to Berjaya square. (Both to and fro) Those who would like to have some fun in the amusement centre can easily spend some time there and to do some shopping too. You can move on from there to various other locations too.

beautiful gardens and surroundings. the beds are very comfortable and staff always willing to help. the water taxi from the hotel to the mines shopping centre is only 8 rn, a little bit of fun, or a free shuttle bus runs many times during the day food at the mines shopping centre is very good, many choices of food to eat. if you want shoes or handbags and clothes many stores with great prices. i have stayed at the palace of the goldren horses twice and will return again soon.
Shopping Tip:
Close to the Mines Shopping centre, great bargins and many shops to choose from. Food at the Mines shopping Centre is very good, many choices of food to eat. San Fransico Pizza restaurant, excellent staff and food good quality. If you want shoes or handbags and clothes many stores with great prices. The water taxi from the hotel is only 8 RN, a little bit of fun, or a free shuttle bus runs many times during the day, I have stayed at the Palace of the Goldren Horses twice and will return again soon.

Beautiful hotel with nice design .
Nice and big room with a balcony

When I checked in at 3pm,my room was not ready but they gave me another room. What need to be improved is the service as no one care to pick up the phone when you called the front desk.For a big hotel like that I think they are short of staff.The room is nice but not enough lightings,too dim.
