Very convenient for KL airport - Very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. You can store your luggage at the hotel for a month! 2pm checkout possible if you have late flight Rooms dated and need duvets on beds. Why are hotels like this so behind the times? Shower took ages to warm up and no power to it. Entry card awkward to use in lift and to switch on power. Staff either aloof or too attentive. A rather staid sort of hotel, but with a nice relaxing feel about it. In the restaurant I didn't really need waiters to keep asking me if I needed anything. I hadn't any shampoo with me and disappointed none in bathroom...a must in this standard of hotel! You had to pay for internet access in the room...that's pathetic, considering the room rate. Told, it will be offered free soon. Room looked dated and in need of modernising, but very clean...told the rooms were under review. There was paper coming off wall in my room! Buggy ride from airport to hotel novel.
To sum up...a nice experience, but cannot be considered special. The Pan Pacific is really a 4 star hotel, only made 5 I feel, because of its proximity to the airport. Value for money...not really, considering what you could get in KL for a cheaper price!

Proximity to arrival/departure halls at KLIA. Fantastic entrance/lobby. Courteous staff especially ferrying pax between terinal and hotel with golf buggies. Decor in the room displays 3 star standards. Toilets needs rethinking to charge such high rates as ceramic tiles should not even be contemplated for granitess and marble s for this price. The Pan Pacific if not properly managed may think it is 4 star queues but should be compared to the Novotel at Bangkok Airport with equally impressive entrance but much better room furnishings and decor.
Unless, it wants to capitalise on the fact that it is the only walking distance hotel available, the tired and eye brows raising rates will cause much dissatisfaction much worse protraying what Malaysia is not - exhorbitant without the right reasons.
Travel tip : No comments as I did not have enough time to catch the next flight.

Clean and modern
Very nice hotel with good food We stayed here when we had a 24 hour stopover in KL on our way to Vietnam. The hotel was fantastic. Clean, Modern, Food was great and all the amenities were in good condition. This hotel was definately worth the money. It is a fair hike to the city centre. However, it is easy to get there. The hotel has a free transfer to the Airport train station and from there it is about 20 mins to the city centre. The airport train is in great condition and very clean. We will be staying here again on our way home through KL.
