Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful swimming pool. Very impressive hall with alive music. Amazing buffet meal at one of the restaurants. Luxurious room with single bed of the size of double bed.

There are no weaknesses.

Overall I had one of the best experiences at Pan Pacific. The hotel is joined to the airport and it's an easy walking distance. Really impressive front hall with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful swimming pool with tropical plants around. Try one of their buffet meals, where you can experience a wide range of choices of amazing meals from Malaysian cultures and many, many others with plenty of seafood and very attractive desserts it's definitely a good value for money. Great rooms with plenty of space and huge single beds which are the size of double beds. With lots of other features like business centre, alive music at the main hall, gym, sauna Pan Pacific can easily satisfy any guarantee a very pleasant stay for any fussy traveler from any part of the world.

Covenience, clean, quiet

Off the town, no other entertainment or shopping facilities around

Pan Pacific KLIA is the hotel I used whenever I arrived late and leaving the next day as it is located just next wlking distance from the airport. The price is a bit high comparing with KL other 5 stars hotels. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet and recomended for one night stay on transit.

Travel tip : For transit and to depart early next morning, Pan Pacifc is the hotel to take a break

Typical hotel for its class.

We had the buffet for dinner. Unfortunately I got sick the next day, possibly due to something I had eaten the night before. Possibly the oysters. the biggest problem is that the hotel is at the International airport which is not the one that Air Asia flies into. It took us a while to realise that there was no shuttle bus and we had to go through the drama of getting a taxi coupon back inside the airport and then get the taxi. Need to allow about 40-50 extra ringits to cover this cost.

Hotel was very close to the International airport so very convenient if you are arriving there. Room was quiet and a wide range of channels available on the TV.

Directly attached to airport, very convenient. Delicious sateh in the hotel bar

Ugly bar (though good food), too big, no special atmosphere

The location is ideal for transfer travellers. Coming from the arrival hall you can walk inside from luggage to Pan Pacific (about 15 minutes walk and along the way are small buggies from the hotel that can take you there as well). Taking a taxi will be a waste of money. The hotel is big, so do not expect any special atmosphere. Rooms are convenient (again nothing special though) and clean. It is perfect for a night sleep. Breakfast should be included in the rate to make it excellent value for money. Without breakfast it is on the expensive side.

Restaurant Tip : The sateh in the bar is delicious. The bar is very ugly though.

Friendly, helpful staff Very comfortable bed and pillows Very quiet Great food and ambience

Poor water pressure

Pan Pacific Hotel KLIA has a buggy link to the airport terminal at KL, so it is very convenient. The service and staff were 5 star quality, as was the room. Our stay included use of the spa, sauna and jacuzzi and so were able to relax and refresh after and before our travels. Highly recommended.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Catch the KLIA ekspres train into KL for some shopping and sightseeing. It's quick and offers seniors discount!

In the airport itself, convenience

If you walk to the hotel, you have to pass through an area without air-conditioned

Pan Pacific has been my regular transit stop in KLIA. Price is reasonal, quiet and clean. The people are friendly and helpful. The hotel does not charge you for storage if you are to leave your extra luaggages while travel to visit other place of intherest in other part of Malaysia. I give give 9 out of ten

Restaurant Tip : For good local food, go to the Food Garden located at thye same hotel free pickup floor

near airport, near transportation to city

far away from city centre

Basically Pan Pacific is a good hotel for short transits especially only for 1 or 2 nights as it is only about 500m from the arrival hall plus there is a buggy transport to bring you and your luggage to the hotel reception, so you can save time and energy. City center in KL is quite far about 70 km so short transit will be recommended to stay in this 5 star hotel as you don't have to worry the next day getting to airport and get extra sleep before departure. The employees are very friendly, rooms are quite spacious and clean.

Taking the Pacific Club Upgrade option when booking the hotel. This place is really nice and worth the cost.

Perhaps they could run additional transport to the LCCT on an hourly basis between 10 am and 3 pm

This is our second stay at the Pan Pacific KLIA using the Pacific Club Upgrade. Having free coffee/tea and soft drinks available throughout the day was a great bonus. The Pacific Club rooms and food area are great. Free cocktails and snacks between 7 to 9 pm in the Pacific Club floor was fantastic and allowed us to wind down after our travels. The pool area is great and a great place to read and relax. Have already booked for January 2010.

Hotel Feature Tip : If you miss the free hotel shuttle service between the hotel and the LCCT, there is a low cost bus shuttle that runs between both terminals. Price was 1.5 ringets.

The hotel is extremely close to the airport and there is a free shuttle buggy service which collects you from the terminal and drops you straight at reception in about 2 minutes. Being so close meant we could check in and then go back to the room to relax before boarding the plane.

The only disappointment was the fact that some tv channels were only available in the more expensive "Pacific Club" floor rooms. We'd been planning a really lazy evening of room service and watching a good film on HBO but we couldn't get that channel in our room. Only a small niggle, the rest of the place was great!

We had a very relaxing stay at the Pan Pacific before our flight back to London Heathrow. The room was very clean and seemed like it had been redecorated recently. All the staff were very attentive. We ordered room service, it came promptly and the meals were of restaurant-quality, nicely presented and not too expensive. The bed was large and comfortable, it was a shame the dressing gowns were thin cotton rather than big fluffy ones but that's about the only thing we could find fault with so not really a major problem! The reception hall was very large and luxurious looking and even though we probably looked a bit scruffy after getting off a flight we were treated very well. Good value for money as it saves taking the train into the city centre which costs about £15 each. They also had a service where you could leave luggage free of charge for up to a month which we would have made use of had we known about it before. We went to Borneo, then stayed in a KL city centre hotel for a night before heading to Indonesia, then spent the night at the Pan Pacific before flying from KL back to London. We left a bag in the airport left luggage office (needed jumpers in Borneo and climbing boots which we didn't want to take to Indonesia) which cost about £40 for 20 days - it would have been handy to know about the Pan Pacific storage facility.

Hotel Feature Tip : Definitely make use of the free shuttle buggy service between the terminal and the hotel. You could walk it but the buggy is much quicker - and fun too!

A high quality hotel with excellent services right at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Shuttle service to take you and your luggage to the airport arrival and departure levels.

Expensive.

A high quality hotel with excellent services right at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Why risk missing your flight due to traffic jams getting from the city to the airport? A convenient shuttle cart service will take you and your luggage to the airport arrival and departure levels. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The hotel stay was a pleasant end to our journey in Peninsular Malaysia.

Quick transfer time. Polite and rapid check in. Comfortable beds. Water bottles. Toiletries for transit passengers.

None

For anyone that has flown 'cattle class' on a long haul flight the memory of trying to squeeze the body into a semblance of comfort to snatch precious moments of sleep will be all too familiar. Pause before booking next time. Consider the stop over in KL. Rapid 10 minute shuttle transfer to a comfortable sleep in bed heaven. Cool sheets, spacious rooms, deluxe everything and wake refreshed to face another leg of the journey. Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur was a pleasant and refreshing surprise for a tired traveller. We heartily recommend it.

Next to the airport if you have an overnight connection

Location - far from KL city

A good business hotel. The only reason to stay here would be if you have an overnight connection at Kuala LUmpur International airport. It is located 70km from the city. THe hotel is connect to teh airport terminal, but there is an electric cart shuttle to take you the 300m. Excellent rooms and facilities. Quiet despite the airport location. Reasonable comfort and alue for a business traveller

Travel tip : You wouldn't bother to stay here if you had enough time to go into the city

Location, man playing the piano in the bar.

It's well above average but it's not total luxury.

If you are travelling early from KL book into this hotel. You won't regret it. It's well appointed with good staff and nice rooms. Not over the top luxury wise, I'd probably give it 4 stars, but good breakfast and a nice pool. It depends what your standards are. Having just come from an amazing jugle hotel in Langkawi, it seemed a bit tame, but maybe I was just sad my holiday was over.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go for a swim in the morning before you leave.

Close to both plane terminals. Large clean rooms. Staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast most satisfying.

Nothing that comes to mind.

My collegue and I arrived very late on a Saturday night for a 1 night stay whilst in transit. The performance of all hotel staff from the time of checking in, moving about the hotel itself, dining, and checking out was first class. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised at the ample size of our room and bathroom. The Pan Pacific is indeed worthy of its 5 star rating and I look forward to my next stay.

Restaurant Tip : Excellent breakfast in the main restaurant.

Love the proximity of the hotel to the airport, comfort and friendliness and efficiency of the staff

Some of the beds are not quilt tops and are quite hard but on our second visit this week we were give a room with a "luxurious bed".

We were met by a smiling electric car driver who took us to the hotel. Within minutes we were in our room after checking in and a few minutes later our luggage arrived - again with a smile. Upon going downstairs to the piano lounge we ordered a light meal and were met by the same lovely girl who had served us the week before and welcomed us back after recognising us. Finished this meal with the "best cappuccino in the world".

Travel tip : Try the cappuccinos in the lounge bar - best in the world
