This hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed at the alleged best. We were in the Orchid club section and it was excellent. Staff, food and room were faultless. The only thing we had reservations about was the glass bathroom. At our age not a pretty sight. (I speak for myself of course) We would recommend this hotel without question.
We liked everything about this hotel.

the hotel has underwent a great transformation from when i last stayed there some years ago. the rooms were indeed superb and this is one of the few remaining hotels in KL which is strategically located with a grand entrance/lobby which makes one arriving in a hotel compared to many others which due to a lack of space has to be satisfied with a small lobby. it is worth while staying at this hotel. but the food should be improved and the entertainers at the Lounge seems to be like pre-dated from the last 2 century. should be changed or asked to improve on their performance.
The Lobby is nice and provides the feeling of a 'real' hotel. Concierge was excellent and front office staff very welcoming though one of them who served me was utterly arrogant. Room was newly refurbished and was given sort of like a studio room and amenities was all provided for. Internet connection was excellent.
during my stay there was some minor renovation done and it was totally disturbing and a hassle. food at the coffee house could be improved especially the buffet line considering they charge quite high.
Only a Stop Over but was as good as it gets

The hotel is near to everything from shopping, food, LTR etc. The bed is super big and the room is comfortable. The bathtub choked when we moved in and after compaint the problem was not fixed. We called again and the plumber came in and the problem was solved. One of the heavy raining days rain water came through the window but not much, we stayed at the top floor. Other than this all are fine.
Location is good, room is nice, lobby is bright.
Car park is horrible.
- Restaurant Tip : The food court at Lot 10 basement offers wide range and reasonable choice of food. After 8.30pm the sushi counter at the supermarket offers 50% discount.

The Park Royal is very impressive as you walk into the foyer, a true 5 star hotel. The rooms are ok but more like a 3.5 star although very clean. Location was excellent, your across the road to Times Square which is a huge shopping centre with an internal theme park, my kids loved it. You are also a walking distance to the other major shopping complexes eg. lot 10, Pavillion etc. The breakfast at the hotel was truly amazing, lots of variety and delicious. We do recommend you stay at the Park Royal as the location was terrific.
Hotel was very central, close to all the shops and for a 5 star was much cheaper than other 5 stars in the area.
Drinks too expensive.
- Shopping Tip : You definitely need to catch a taxi to China Town as the markets there are fantastic and soo cheap compared to Thailand. Taxi trip is about 10min and really cheap.

Hotel is very near to Sungei Wang Plaza & BB Plaza which offer a nice range of products to shop, including branded clothing for teenagers, fashion accessories, DVDs, souvenirs, household decorative items. Other places to shop are Berjaya Times Squares, Lot 10 and Pavilion. The Pavilion is a very new shopping mall, very posh and trendy. Many designer wear and branded shop are there.
AS for dining, u can go to Jalan Alor, there are several hawkers stalls there and the food are nice and cheap. Chinatown also have a hawker food and there is a claypot rice stall which is very famous and the claypot rice is so nice.
Hotel is very near to many shopping areas and the rooms are very clean. The reception staff are very friendly too
Breakfast is average and i book a superior queen room. There is no bath tub and the shower area is separated from the toilet.

The hotel itself was nice with nice, clean rooms however the fact that my check-in took 20 minutes despite having the Agoda-voucher clearly showed problems with the reception.
It was also quite difficult to get there with a cab, do to the strange turn.
The good thing with the hotel was their bar, restaurant and easy, walking distance to other locations in Kuala Lumpur.
Location, other restaurants, arcades, etc.
Difficult access when coming with a cab.
Check-in was a mess.
- Restaurant Tip : Good restaurant just across the street.
A great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Royal. Everything from the staff, to the cleanliness, right down to the breakfast buffet! We chose this hotel based on friends reviews and we weren't disappointed. What made the stay even better was the fantastic location which was within walking distance of many things. Two thumbs up!
I liked pretty much everything about the hotel.
The only thing I can think of is the wait time on the lifts!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Enjoy a bit of a sleep-in as most stores don't open until 10 am!
Love the Park Royal

I love this hotel and have stayed here four times now. The location can't be beat right in the middle of the Golden Triangle opposite all the big malls - Sungai Wang, Lot 10, Times Square. The rooms are large clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is included and is one of the best buffet breakfasts I have had. The pool area and gym are more than adequate although some nearby building makes it a little noisy at times. I will definitely use the Park Royal on my next KL trip.
Service is superb
Rooms are clean and modern
Rooms have great views
A little expensive
- Shopping Tip : Sungai Wang is a great shopping centre that has just about everything - including a great DVD man Mr Robert on the SW bottom level - very cheap and excellent quality.
