Very nice place to stay close to everything and shopping. Shops straight across the road. Monorail really close to hotel which gives you access to KL Central the to the airport.

For business, it is OK to move around for work although the traffic is not too godd in the rush hour in the morning and evening.
It is a great location for food and shopping as Sungei Wang is just across the road to the hotel anf Bt Bintang is within walking distance; Jln Alor is also nearby for local food.
Times Square is also nearby within 5 mins walk.
Overall, it is a good hotel for business and for holidays.

We stayed there over the weekend and received good service for all our requests. The hotel had nice rooms which were clean and the well-designed features such as the glass which gives it a more spacious feel makes it a good hotel. Only cutback is that the toilet and shower doors had no means of locking and there was no hangar to hang the towel or clothes whilst bathing.
Shopping Tip:
Beside the hotel is Lot 10 Shopping Mall and diagonally across the roads are Berjaya Times Square (further) and Sungei Wang complex.

Old building but excellent amenities & location

You are definitely paying for the location and convenience for staying in Parkroyal. The bonus is that despite being an old building, the hotel is very well maintained and provide full amenities.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, and I have nothing to complain about for the cleanliness and size of the room and bathroom too.
Definitely recommended for travelers looking for a value place to stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Visit the Lot 10 Hutong (food court) at Lot 10 Shopping Mall for the best indoor air-conditioned local food experience.

Hotel at great location with great service

The hotel is literally within walking distance to Berjaya TImes Square, Sungei Wang, Pavilion, Farenheit 88 - many shopping places. The St Gregory Spa is fantastic, though a little pricey. The room was very functional, but there were not many channels to watch on the tv.
