Top notch hotel at a very good price
Hard to find a better location within central KL

we had zero problems with the place, everything went smoother than butter.
hotel has dedicated cab service (blue exec cabs) - a bit more than the normal cab fare but with the service you get - metered, new cabs, english speaking drivers who are friendly - it is easily worth the money.
location is very hard to beat. the best of what downtown kl has to offer is often just one or two streets away, if not across the road.
hotel patrons has a lot of families. pool was congested with kids but that wasn't an issue with us as we weren't there to make full use of the in house facilities.
Shopping Tip:
If you have a chance, go to the suburban malls like Publika, The Curve.

i simply love this hotel due its location and its full amenities.there's iron & board in the wardrobe saved the hassle of calling the room service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
walking distance to Sungei Wang,Berjaya Times Square,Pavillion,Lot 10.

We stayed on the 14th floor and so had no issues with street noise. We had an east facing room and the views to Genting Highlands were uninterrupted.
The room was small but this was due to us taking the cheapest possible room rate. Upgrades are available at the front desk if you ask and there are signs with rates. Do not hesitate to take up one of the many bigger rooms if the room is too small rather that it impacting your holiday.
The room had everything and showed no signs of obvious wear and tear. Shower (no bath) was excellent, basin was part of bedroom so slightly offputting for some but I have had similiar layouts around the world and think it is fine.
the minibar is barely stocked allowing guests to bring in drinks without asking staff to clear space.
Facilities
The pool is warm and very deep. There is a lifeguard on duty at all times. The pool bar and cafe are nice but not cheap.
Wifi is fast and free throughout the hotel.

Still a great location but service now lacking

4th stay here but disappointed this time. Not only us but other patrons as well.Service has gone downhill.
Booked limo via internet, but when checked on arrival day, was not done. Hotel organised a car which was dirty and the driver drove at 130 K (90 limit)in the rain most of the way- frightening!
No welcome Drink as in the past.
No Fruit basket in Room as previous stays.
Club Rooms 6th floor.
Had to wait 25 mins for an omelette , and also 20 mins for fresh Orange Juice when sign displayed to ask for it.
Shortage of Mixes for Cocktail hour,Noticeable lack of European food available.Food available was just warm or cold.
Young children allowed where it clearly states "children under 12 not allowed"
20 minute wait for bags to be picked up on departure.
Towels old and frayed.
Bath gowns had seen better days
WE really liked this hotel as everything used to be perfect, and was the reason we kept returning. They have obviously reduced staff and therefore service has deteriorated. We will probably not return and this was also indicated by other patrons who had stayed more times than us.

Very nice place to stay close to everything and shopping. Shops straight across the road. Monorail really close to hotel which gives you access to KL Central the to the airport.
