Great location and hotel but service not on par
Location was excellent, hotel was spanking clean and well furnished
8
I checked in on the evening of 6th April after arriving on coach from Singapore. The checking in process was fast and fuss free.
Location of the hotel is excellent as it is right within the Bukit Bintang shopping belt, adjacent to Pavilion, Fahrenheit and Lot 10 and within short walking distance to Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat and Sungei Wang.
Furnishing and amenities wise, the hotel lives up to its branding as a boutique hotel. Everything is clean and nice.
Now on the not so good points. Firstly, the complimentary 'buffet'breakast at adjacent Al Azar (or something that sounds like that) restaurant fell way short of expectations as the only notable choices available (without having to 'purchase' extra) are egg dishes, mini hot dogs, hash browns and some fruits. Coffee and tea provided were those 'cafeteria-style' type from a large dispenser container. Enough said.
Secondly, service wise improvements would be desirable. The telephone operator (when i press '0' for assistance) spoke decent English but spoke with a mildly abrasive tone and had close to zero phone etiquette (i.e. no greetings, acknowledgement of request, proper closure of call with a thank you or equivalent like how most service / hospitality staff does. There was also a mix-up during the checking out process as i was refunded less than my initial deposit though there was no other consumption during my stay. Took quite a while to clear things up before i could check out.
Shopping Tip:
After all the shopping, it would be nice to get some foot reflexology. Thai Odyssey at nearby Fahrenheit (about 50-60rm for 45mins if i remember correct)or Ancient Thai (Price is lower but need to walk a while to Nova Hotel vicinity) would make good options. I suggest to skip the 3 reflexology outlets near Sungei Wang / BB Plaza though their prices are cheaper.

Great location with great room!
Centralise location to all the great shopping malls be it luxury or 2nd grade malls
9.3
The location of the hotel is great because it is near to the new Upper class shopping mall, Pavillion and the not so high class mall, Sungei Wang & Lot 10. Swift check in although we were there early. Receptions were pleasant though there's a slight hiccup in the Wifi, the technicians were swift in rectifying the faults. The room is clean and nicely arranged. There are great entertainment outlets with all the bistro and pubs just walking out of the hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
It's so happening at night with great entertainment both from the pubs and guests alike.

Must choose this hotel again next time
Location (within Golden Triangle), reasonable price, nice breakfast, interesting room decor
9.3
the staff is very helpful, ad we asked them to print something for us at midnight, they helped us. the room and lobby area are clean and tidy. the room decor is new and unique, i like the big picture in each room. free wifi provided. one thing is the noise from the bar right downstairs. we stayed on the 6th floor but still could hear the music. the location is perfect if you like shopping, eating and nightlife. the hotel is less than 5 mins away from the monorail station and pavilion. breakfast is at o coffee club which is a cosy nice restaurant. however, it is not quite convenient to transit between lrt stations and monorail stations, from the map u can see some of them are linked, but actually they arent, and you need to go out first then cone back in,
Shopping Tip:
Must go to the basement floor of Starhill shopping centre, as you will find lots of stylish decor and restaurants on this floor. Also, there are many nice restaurants (e.g. Madam Kwan's, Nando's) and shops in or around Pavilion shopping centre. On the other hand, Lot10, Times Square and Sungei Wang have nothing for tourists, so you can skip these. Go to Pavilion branch if you want to have a meal in Madam Kwan's, don't go to the one in Suria KLCC, coz there must be a long long queue, or you can go to Miss Kwan's there if you like, which is a fast food style restaurant.

Convienence with a small price
8.3
I will visit KL at least twice a year for a short getaway. This is my 4th time staying @ this hotel with my wife, the only thing this time I took a superior room, as usually I will take a deluxe room. My personal view is if you don't mind a small room you can go for it. However, I will prefer more space and comfort, therefore I will stick to deluxe. The staff at the counter are very professional and friendly, hotel is clean as usua. This time we got breakfast included in this stay. But breakfast is nothing fantastic, as we are given a breakfast voucher to coffee club set breakfast. This time we also watch a movie @ pavillion mall - Golden Screen Cinema than we walk back to our hotel which is just one street away.
Nightlife Tip:
Movies @ Golden Screen is just RM$14 very affordable

Great location but dislike room
7.7
Small hotel right in the middle of the shopping strip. Surrounded by shops and good food definitely make traveller's life easier. Room was clean and reasonably spacious. Just dislike the bathroom is right next to the bed in the deluxe room. Could at least put a divider or something so it feels a little more away from where we slept.
Restaurant Tip:
Have breakfast in Lot 10 food court which is on the left of the hotel on Jalan Bukit Bintang. There is a small currency exchange inside that gives pretty good rate.
