Great location with sufficient amenities
Good location right where the shopping activities are.

Great location and lovely hotel

We got a pleasant surprise when they upgraded us to a Deluxe Room. Breakfast included is served by Coffee Club nearby, in front of Farenheit88. Hotel has limited facilities, but well maintained, clean, safe and nice.
Super convenient location, right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, very near to Pavilion KL, and right next to Farenheit88 and Lot 10. Lot 10 basement has a great (although expensive) food court at the basement where they have some of Malaysia's most famous local fares which are really very good.
Within a short walk is the Bukit Bintang Monorail, which connects to many other locations and other transportation lines, making it convenient to move about.
BB is very vibrant, dynamic and happening with activities well into the night. Many tourists and people working and living around the area hanging out after work at the cool joints. Many seedy characters around too, so beware of pick-pockets. There are many policemen on patrol around th area too.
Pavilion basement has a great food court and many great restaurants too. Jalan Alor is nearby, much like Newton Circus, targeted to tourists. Although cheaper (still expensive as they are known to hike up prices for unsuspecting tourists), hygiene-wise, it's not desirable. Nevertheless, must visit still.
Connected to Jalan Alor is Changkat Bukit Bintang, which is like Holland V, has many cool pubs and hangout joints that make this area unique and happening in its own rights. Particularly favored by expats.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taking taxis is super convenient, available right in front of the hotel at the side road, but avoid them if possible as they are more expensive, particularly the blue cabs. Ask for prices first (non-blue taxis) as some will refuse to use meter and demand a premium. One driver even told us he will drive a big round if use meter, but if pay his price of RM$25, he will use a straight road. We went up the main road (Jalan Bukit Bintang) and got a taxi at RM$15 to Mont Kiara. Blue taxis are willing to use meter but their starting meter is double of the other normal cabs, although their taxis are newer and usually more comfortable than other normal taxis (which while cheaper, may have faulty air-cons and dirtier interiors). It's a very nice hotel in a great location, truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. All the malls are within walking distance and if you need to get a cab, it's easy to do so as the main road is just in front of the hotel. Only con will be the traffic, jam most of the time but what's new if you are in Kuala Lumpur. The service by the front desk is excellent and couple with free wifi what else can i ask for? The breakfast is being serve at Coffee Club restaurant instead of in the hotel, about 2 mins walk on the right of the hotel. I strongly recommend for all kinds of travelers except business due to the traffic.

stayed at piccolo the 3rd time..with my mother for the chinese new year . enjoyed ourselves as its very near shopping district , we even get to catch 2 movies at a comfortable cinema in pavilion . highly recommended for family, couple n solo traveller.
Shopping Tip:
Pavilion is just on the right side and nearby a string of good restaurants ..just walk along bukit to the left and you will find good nice restaurants like papa rich etc etc ...

Hotel is new. Friendly & helpful staff. It is centrally located in Bukit Bintang. Just next to LOT 10 Shopping Centre and 3mins to Pavillion. Monorail is just 3mins walk. Free parking strictly for hotel guest (with security guard). Had receommended many friends to stay here especially those who drive & want a centrally located hotel. Will return again for sure !
