location, price, staff, cleanliness

choice of breakfast

I have been staying at PNB Darby Park on a near-weekly basis for the past 16 weeks approx. And I can say from experience it is possibly the best all-round serviced apt in KL. I know that price and location are the top 2 considerations for most and PNB ticks both boxes with flying colours. I also bring my family now and again to spend a week with me and the place is great for children too with a swimming pool and play area as well as games room. I often get upgraded as no extra charge, this is simply pot-luck

Shopping Tip : KLCC is a mere 7 mins walk and if you want real bargains, head towards Sungei Wang shopping mall and surrounding area or if you want something more gritty, head towards Jln Masjid India.

Friendly staff, great location, good facilities for kids and good value for money.

Choice of breakfast

PNB Darby Park is one of the best serviced apts in the city. It is in a great location (only 10 mins walk to KLCC and near embassy row). It has an eatery which is a 1 min walk on the same road. It has a very friendly staff who want to please and make your stay comfortable. It is the most reasonably priced serviced aps as well.

Shopping Tip : Hop on a taxi towards Pavilion, which is a world class shopping mall and further towards Sungei Wang for more cheaper stuff.

Great location, friendly staff, good value for money

Choice of breakfast

PNB Darby Park is in a great location (only 10 mins walk to KLCC and near embassy row). It has a very friendly group of staff, esp the doormen. PNB is the most reasonably priced serviced aps as well. I have stayed here many times and they almost always upgrade me if the rooms are fully booked in that class. Will certainly use again.

Restaurant Tip : Try the restaurant on the top floor of PNB.

Great location, high class services from recreational facilities to renowned chef-run restaurant. Free wirless internet. Knowledgeable staff and a 5 star welcome in true Thai style.

None

Apart from the most convenient location and a pleasing art deco exterior of the hotel, inside was even more inspiring; from landscaped grounds to aesthetic fittings. The staff were most friendly and attended to your every need, they were pro active and eager to make your stay at The Chedi as pleasant and memorable as possible. If you have a need that is not officiated by the hotel, I am sure they will certainly be able to arrange it for you. I will not be staying at any other hotel in Chiang Mai that's for sure.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel arranges sight seeing tours at reasonable prices that will suit your budget, from day-long tours to half day trips.

Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast buffet is repetitive and Food quality for the room service can be improved.

I am a frequent traveller and always stay in PNB Darby Pack executives suite when I get the opportunity. Overtime, the staff become your friends and they go all out of their way to help. Location is spot-on. Room cleanliness is of a good standard. Not many serviced apartments provide room services. I have no reservations in recommending this to friends and business travellers alike.

- Near to KLCC without the horrendous traffic - Modern, clean decor - Decent View - Rooftop Cafe/Business Centre - Complimentary Parking - Good range of cutlery, and even Tupperware boxes! - DVD player !

- No supermarket / minimart - The breakfast isn't fantastic, with limited range, and even more limited seating. - The comforter is covered in a rather rough fabric - No bedroom slippers (I brought my own!) - have to pay for wifi

This place is quite a gem, especially if you are taking a Singaporean/Malaysian discounted rate. Only less than 10 minutes away from KLCC, I was very happy to know that the key destinations are nearby without having to deal with the traffic congestion. The room is nice and comfortable, I was upgraded to a 1BR that came with a small living area and a kichenette. the total size is just like any roomy 5 star hotel though, they just put more things in. They also provide a sarong which came in handy as the comforter for some reason was covered in a ribly rough fabric - I had a hard time falling asleep, until I used the sarong. The worst is that the breakfast cafe on the ground floor has very limited seating and I had to wait 10-15 mins before a table was available. The breakfast range is nothing to crow about either, but at least they have an eggs station. I guess when they give you a kichenette, they do expect you to cook! I especially liked that they had a DVD player in the room, which meant that I could watch my own DVDs. All in all, worth you while to try a stay.

Hotel Feature Tip : Don't park by the roadside, as the Troika was being built when I was there, and paint splattered on the car!

Good location, elegant atmosphere walk way from the lift to the suite, clean room, nice kitchen utensil for cooking, firm mattress and soft n smooth bedsheet and quil cover. complimentary parking for hotel guest.

small bathtub, water was yellow first few nights, ventilation need to be improved because early morning can smell french toast prepared by nearby unit.

it is a nice apartment for the price we paid especially we can do some cooking. There is convenience shop which supply cooking stuff, snack etc and DIY laundrett service of rm4.50 /5kg which is reasonable.

The sound system and audio-visual equipments they provided in the executive suite was good.

(1) Room service is slow in response. (2) Mineral water bottles provided only on first day of check-in.

When we first checked in, they upgraded us to an executive suite as the normal-type rooms we'd booked were fully booked. The breakfast area was too small which resulted in a long queue. Even in the executive room, basic items like tooth brush and toothpastes were not provided. Mineral water was only provided on the first day. The room service was slow in responding. We had to call them and make our request twice before they responded.

Quiet, clean, near main Jalan Ampang area, central to business district

Taxi's & cars parking at the driveway entrance during peak hour

Darby Park is located conveniently at the junction of Jalan Binjai & Jalan Ampang, which is close enough to the KLCC & in the Golden Triangle zone to make it easily accessible for business, yet near enough to the night-life of Jalan Bintang to get to but far away enough to avoid the nightly traffic jam. Hotel is clean, comfortable and service is pleasant & friendly. This makes for a great stay for business in the day & yet allows one to go out and enjoy the great cusine and shopping KL has to offer in the evening.

Large room, large bathroom, nice facilities, good location

Bizarre dress code rules for breakfast (no shorts or flip flops - but its not THAT nice of a hotel)

I would definitely recommend PNB Darby, but for 30 USD less, I would recommend the nearby Marriott even more. The rooms are not as big, but the overall decoration within the room is much nicer. Location wise, they are about the same. I enjoyed staying at both (PNB at the beginning of my stay and the Marriott at the end), but at the end of the day, I preferred the Marriott. Besides the weird dress code requests though, I have nothing bad to say about PNB

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is right near the Petronas Towers (which are a must see) and next to a subway station, which can take you quickly down to Chinatown

Location and the comfort, the view the spacious and chic interior.

nothing in particular

It was a better change from ZON Hotel. Moved into iPNB on 18July. Pleasantly suprised and delighted with the suite. Kitchenette was fully equipped! Rooms were very comfortable. Fax machine within room made it easy to work. The view was fantastic and entertaining guest in the suite was a very enjoyable affair. House keeping was thorough. Overall it was super enjoyable!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : NAsi KAndar,Quattro, bring jogging shoes for a quick run in the KLCC park. Skybar is a RM2 taxi ride from PNB darby.Near the AMpang LRT. Very convenient.

Great location, clean & tidy, great service.

close to construction site, the rate could have been reduced a bit due to this.

This hotel was in a great location, we stayed in a 2br suite on the KLCC side. The space was fantastic with a kitchen and all facilities, dinig and lounge area was also spacious. There was construction across the road but the noise was minimal. We were still able to see the towers through the construction. The kids floor was great and our children enjoyes it, something I have never seen before. We will return there again as location is everything.

Travel tip : The KLCC was just through the park, and the equipment for the kids would have to be the best in Malaysia, was very impressed with it. Also only a 15 - 20 min walk to the Pavillion shopping centre.

Cleanliness

Lack of variety for the breakfast buffet

I travel on a weekly basis to KL and PNB is my preferred choice of accomodation. The staff are very friendly and the convenience of the location to travel to work and other leisure destinations. However, they can improve of the variety of food served during breakfast as one can get tired of the selection after a few days.

Large room, kitchen equipped with all utensils necessary for short stay, good facilities for children, friendly and helpful staff, near the LRT station

Driving the car out of the basement parking may not be so easy for those with big cars since it is quite a tight fit.

I went to the hotel at 12 noon asking whether I could check in. The staff at the counter was so helpful and friendly and dealt with my request quickly. I was ushered to the business center on the 39th floor to have my hotel confirmation document printed out. The hotel upgraded my room since the room I requested was not available. There is no problem with car parking since the hotel has ample parking space. The hotel is located near the Ampang Park Putra station and I find this convenient to go to my meeting in KLCC. Furthermore there is a 24-hour mamak restaurant nearby that makes it easy to find food at any hour.

The hotel reception was kind enough to upgrade me to a better room after discovering that all standard rooms were fully taken up. The service, breakfast, room amenities were all great.

The hotel lobby and coffee house at the ground floor is kind of small. There were quite a lot of people around at breakfast time.

I had a great 2 days 1 night stay at this hotel I actually booked for a one bedroom suite but the hotel gave me an upgrade to a two bedroom suite at no extra charges! Wow! The living room, bedrooms are very comfortable and great. Everything was perfect except that the broadband network wire was quite short so we had to surf the net on the table and not on our bed in the master bedroom. Nevertheless, I feel that this hotel is really great. It is very near to KLCC, one of Kuala Lumpur's famous shopping centres with its two twin towers around it. It was very easy finding food, pharmacy, shopping, highways. Agoda had given me a good deal in staying at this hotel. For that, I have to thank agoda. I mean, I got a room rate which is cheaper than the hotel's normal rates. All in all, thumbs up to PNB Darby Park Executive Suites and AGODA too!! Keep it up, Agoda!!

Hotel Feature Tip : You just have to pay RM$50 to enjoy a 24-hour broadband Internet access connection. Worth getting it!
