nice, quiet surrounding, friendly staff

far away from everything, no alternatives for restaurants outside the hotel nor entertainment.

Definately over priced, hotel is overall nice, friendly staff, layered in nice surrounding, but attention the hotel is located very lonely, there is nothing around, so you have to take a taxi for a 15 minutes ride to the nearest shopping mall Alamanda. Also Taxi is charging you over prized due to the lonely location you have no alternatives. Same belongs to food, as there is no other way as to eat there prices are very high.

Shopping Tip : have to get out of the hotel as there is nothing around - nearest shopping mall Alamanda is 15 min. mini-bus ride away.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful setting and views from the windows. Gardens and fountains. Wonderful pillows. Good length swimming pool. No problems about getting separate towels for the pool. Gym.

Some systems not working well yet. Discrepancy between menu prices and charged prices (easily corrected). Dining room staff not keeping their eyes on customer's needs/beckoning. Locked bar fridges in rooms, needing to ring for someone to unlock.

This is a very new hotel only opening 4 months ago. Inevitably there are some minor "teething" problems, none of which are a huge problem. The setting is great. The staff are beautiful - smiling, friendly, helpful. However, they do need some more training/experience. We had a phone call to our room at 11pm on the day of arrival asking for passports. We had collapsed into bed and were sound asleep and did not appreciate this interruption, which could have waited until the next day. Also, we found the dining room staff not tuned into keeping an eye on customers and attending to them if they required something. It is annoying to have to leave one's table to relay a need. And to wait for almost 10 minutes for a cold beer, only to be told it was not available, very irritating.A lovely experience was a Ramadan buffet. We are not Muslim but were made to feel welcome. The food was great and the chef genuine and interested.

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel is in a very new area and there does not appear to be much close by in the way of shops. However, it is ideally situated to a magnificent new convention centre.

Nice deco, low floors, near lakes, unique design

odd lobby location, too far to get to the lobby or from parking especially rooms further from the lift lobby.Mosquitoes!

In general it is a very pleassant hotel. But rooms could be better and the access to lobby could be improved. Maybe the lobby or reception could move closer to the rooms.Mosquitos issue could be resolve by putting netting.

This is definitely bad! Guest Rating: 2.7

nothing at all.

Management and staff. Needs proper training from proper trainers. Carpark not under Hotel management. Why?? Hotel building needs loads of touch-up work. Food is terrible.

believe Pullman is a respectable figure with well-recognised International standards in the Hotel industry and as reviewed by others from the Internet. I was assured it will be a good stay. I checked in and I was hoping to get a good rest, as I have been on the road since 5am. Problem with room 2241 (Jasmine Wing): The floor was not cleaned and there were stains everywhere. My feet turned black after inspecting the room. I requested for a smoking room but there wasnt any ash tray in sight. And the 6 pillows i wanted wasnt there, too. I called the Front desk. The Duty Manager, a Mr Lawrence, offered to come take a look. He said the stains were paintwork leftover from the renovation. Now, if the room wasnt ready, why was I checked-in? As such, I was given another room just down the corridor. Problems with Room 2237 (Jasmine Wing): The floor still has stains, and it looks like something was amiss. Mr Lawrence claims that the 'rough' feel and 'rustic' look of the room is signature. The pictures on the Internet showed otherwise. It was supposedly to be sparkling clean. And well-kept. I was tired and so accepted his claims. After Mr Lawrence left, I went to take a soak in the bath tub. To my horror, both hot and cold taps supplied hot water. You could say I was rather cooked after my bath. I called Reception and was told someone would come take a look but no one came. The air-conditioning in the room was no better. I waited a full hour, with the temperature and fan power to the max. Its still as hot as ever. I called again and was told the same thing but no one came. I was really fed up. Tired and dazed with all the problems, I managed to doze off for awhile. Only to be awaken by children screaming and shouting and running about along the corridor. Oh my God! Is this a Pullman Hotel that I checked in? And then I heard a leaking sound from the toilet. Guess what? The piping broke. And water filled the toilet floor. I called Reception. No one picked up.

Restaurant Tip : Go to Alamanda Shopping centre. Cheap and good!
